An Introduction to Climate Change: Risk Management in Banking

I received a request for a video on Climate Change Risk Management in banking. This is a topical issue right now and regulatory authorities around the world have been pronouncing on the subject for recently - the impact on banks’ risk management framework arising from the need to demonstrate regulatory compliance will be significant. Despite being filmed only this month it’s already out of date - there is no mention of the “green asset ratio” (GAR) and “banking book taxonomy alignment ratio” (BTAR) announced this week from the European Banking Authority, two metrics that banks in the EU will need to report in due course. It’s a fast moving subject!
