A carpet in the toilet is something I have never seen in my life.

Often these tiles contain asbestos. Also the adhesive/mastic that was used to glue them down can contain it.

I wanna ask u about ur rcpd ...did u have that strange feeling when u eat or drink that the food doesn't go to the right way ...as if u don't feel it going into ur stomach ?

It’s not the original toilet bowl it would have been square at the bottom, the floor covering is still a lovely feature though.

If they're the original 1950's 60's Marley tiles they're strengthened with asbestos fibres. Fine as long as you don't damage them . .just be aware if you're taking them up cheers..
