Wow! Dee Dee Warrick really came from music royalty, starting with her older sister, Dionne Warrick. My favorite song by Dee Dee is "I'm Gonna Make You Love Me", in which I'm more familiar with the version that was sung by The Temptations and The Supremes!

Her records are highly sought after by soul music collectors You left out what is my favorite song by her Do it with all your heart. Record in 1965 on the Blue Rock label. Sadly she is so underrated ✌️

She looks like her sister & sounds like her sister. She should've had more hits. Especially in the 80s. R.I.P Dee Dee

She Didn’t Know (She Kept On Talking) was the ultimate!!! There is no way to describe it except to say everyone in the hood knew this song. It was in every jukebox in the tri-state area.

Her (and Dionne’s) original last name is Warrick. Dionne’s album had misspelled to Warwick. Interesting Dee Dee changed too.

My favorite Dee Dee song is When Love Slips Away, but her catalog of work contains some great music. House of Gold runs second for me.

She has a good voice. I liked her voice. However, she was a troubled soul given the allegations made that she molested both Whitney Houston and her brother who were her much younger cousins while they were very young children and she was in her mid to late 20s. God 👑 rest their souls.

Not familiar with her catalog. She sounds a lot like Dionne and Cissy. I believe the molestation story. Just because Dionne and Cissy weren't aware or don't believe it doesn't mean it didn't happen. When this happens with family members the 1st response is always denial

In y’all’s opinion, why is it that despite both/more siblings being talented, one ends up more successful than the other?
@WBPTV
@WBPTV 4 ай бұрын
It’s Really Hard To Say. Honestly I Think It Boils Down To Popularity. Arguably Carolyn Franklin was more talented than Aretha and Erma, But Aretha was the one who was pushed to the front. Bobby DeBarge was the star, but drugs and his inner demons took over which allowed El to come take the spotlight, but in my opinion Chico was the best one out of all. I think we all can agree MJ was the best out of the rest of the siblings. It’s really a strange case. I would say popularity plays a huge part. But then you can question how said person got more popular than their sibling. Could be that vibe you get from someone by feeling/ feeding off their energy.

I knew of the Houston’s and Dionne was one of the nastiest persons you ever want to know.. I know of persons she had been extremely nasty to including children. Mrs Houston was also a nasty piece of work. I know this from persons I know personally. Some of my family members knew them personally and I use to tell people if you see them and speak it will be at your own peril as they have been know to curse people out for speaking to them. Dee Dee however was totally different. Extremely kind when meeting someone, always with a smile. That however does not mean what was said about the molestation from Whitney and her brother was not true.. it is so very hard for a child to come out and pointer finger at someone this way, especially a family member and more so even more dire is the fact that these are famous family members. So these children had more to lose in these grouchy adults it said, and that’s the reason why so many children are so afraid to come out and say when they are being molested, it was already out that the molestation was done so it only makes it look worse when Whitney’s mother and cousin come out and deny this it makes them look very bad. Dionne Warwick should be ashamed of herself and so should Whitney’s mother I am more worried about the reputation of their family and not the reputation of and I called them children because at heart you remain a child when something like that happens to you shame on you out of all the nasty ways that I’ve known you guys to have this is the worst.
