Honestly...I thought we were toast too, MadMatt41. The rampant use of laggy Frontier shots made it difficult to get anything going on this long distance map...plus since I’m non-Covert I couldn’t really “sneak up” on them too much...the corridors are too long and narrow. The gesture molly was pure luck...I sure hope he doesn’t think I was being a dick like “I honor you fellow Bow user, but you gotta go.” 😂👌🏻💦

It's by far the best comeback I've ever done and I'm still surprised I actually did it! I was an incredibly lucky double, Pandanto! Still not sure how Kay powered through the hit-stick, although the Machete should win those encounters. Downtown is a under rated map. People hate it for several reasons. The main one being all the up and down angles. Another is that it is a night map. I have noticed if the choice is between a day map or a night map, the day map will win out.

T strats the old classic bait move haven't seen that in ages wow 3.37 and that dodge 4.53 with a molly throw only t strats can survive that move I've seen u do that many times t strats and your molly throws are insane best come back ever

I will say as an Enforcer user, frequently exclusively, it is always nice to run up again someone who doesn't have sharpshooter and a fully upgraded bow. It's almost a freebie.

Well at least it wasn't a cliffhanger LOL. Nice to finally see a match on downtown. I don't get to play it nearly enough since it seems to be disliked. I like the map and it is played so little that it's sort of a treat for me. Obviously like any map it has its quirks and I can't argue with that. However that was quite the turnaround. I like that the last man ended up with a bow in his hand. I've been playing almost every day with the bow and it is certainly had its ups and downs. I try not to use any of my other weapons until I run out of arrows. I figure if I was going to take this challenge I'm going all out. I'm also still trying to feel out what style I should play with the bow. I have covertly trained loadouts as well as aggressive loadouts. And with mixed success with either I'm still feeling a little bit in limbo even more than halfway through July. But as the saying goes-- 'Rome was not built in a day' -- nor will I become a bow master in 2 or 3 weeks. In any case I hope to have tomorrow to take up the cause once again. Anyone I play with or against I let them know about bow July and encourage them to participate. I was also actually playing portion of the DLC where Ellie is in the mall trying to fend off the group trying to get at Joel. Always a fun portion for me playing Ellie getting to battle with infected and Hunter's alike. After playing her I made a couple loadouts based on the way it felt to play her. They are almost identical except for one has a bow and the other has a hunting rifle. So I'm going to give them a try and also look back at your character loadouts to refresh my memory on your Ellie loadout. And lastly I do agree that there feels like there is some linkage between the wolf reference on the poster in the first game and the reference to Ellie being the wolf in the sequel. I'm curious what are there parallels might be out there to be discovered. I'm also curious as to where the writing for a sequel might have been during the production of the first game. Has it all been mapped out from the very start? At any rate good games and thanks for the Post. Peace

Haha, no cliffhanger here, Virtualyme! Yeah, Downtown seems to be the least favored of all the maps in the game...and maybe unjustly so. I kind of like it, at least when it’s not super campy. Good thought process with the Bow. It’s a weapon that takes a lot of time and practice to feel decent with it. I think a lot of people got discouraged when they did not see immediate improvement, but that’s why it’s a challenge...and the toughest one yet. The Dawn of the Wolf Part II posters became incredibly fascinating for me after the unveiling of Ellie being called “Wolf”. I was like, have they been planning this all along?! It certainly appears that they may have been, to some degree... Thanks for the support and comment as always! 😊🙏🏻

I understand your challenge with it, Simon. The thing about the Bow is that the further away your target, the more lead time you need to build into you shot. If you’re on Twitter, I posted a cool short clip of me shooting someone on The Dam from far away, and the amount of lead you need. Also, I show how you can locate targets through smoke or fog as well. 😉👍🏻
