You are correct when you say golf is very important, more important, then a simple game of distraction. It challenges our minds , body and emotions. It vexes us. It occasionally elates us. There are so many parallels between golf and the challenges of life. This may be why you are strong and facing this difficulty with such determination. You’ve trained your mind and body to not quit, to do the hard work of improving your health. It’s the duty you have to yourself and your family. Continue to stand strong Marcus. As a fan and a student from afar I look forward to your return, but not before you are truly ready.

We never know just how much we miss someone until they're not there. I've been so used to checking for your latest videos, and believe me, you have been missed. Not just for the golf videos, but for your empathy toward us lesser mortals and your positivity. Whatever health issues you are fighting, you are always in our thoughts, and we wish you nothing short of a complete recovery. I (as most of us do) watch tons of instruction videos, but the swing I always use is the Marcus Edblad swing. Looking forward to seeing you again in more videos. Best wishes to you and yours.

Dear Marcus, there is no rush, take your time. Plenty of things to think about when going through your incredible content. Some background, I'm 57, started golf at 22, have great hands to put and chip like a King but used them the wrong way in the full swing with lack of distance as a result. Still got hcp down to 10.2 but deep down I always knew that I wasn't effective. Lost even more speed over the years and tried to increase speed as of 2015. Got into rabbit holes by trying to speed up rotation, which resulted into even more over the top. In a huge slump since then, only breaking 100 on a good day. In this slump I tried and thought about all kind of solutions, some stupid, some not. I even came up with the "long road to the ball" myself one day. I saw(and felt!) the positive and effortless effects, but never couldn't incorporate it and unfortunately moved on to try stupid ideas from the internet and from my own brain. Discovered your content only recently, and I realize your views are right. With your drills and explanations my brain and body will finally be able to Take The Detour! Thanks so much, all the best and see you soon. Greetings from Belgium

Get well and strong. I’m very glad to hear your medical staff are positive. I’ve been using your magic circle and palm striking for weeks now and with positive results. My trajectories are much better, my targeting is much more consistent, my distance is a little better but still needs work. For a future video it would be nice to understand how hard to “hit the table” when you start the downswing circle. Ie is it just a dropping of the hands or are you using force, and how much? I’ve seen others say the distance from back to first parallel is the fastest your hands get in the downswing, do you agree?
