Anaconda Choke Throw

This was one of my favorite moves in high school wrestling, without the submission part,,,,the way i did it you finish the move by locking your hands for a cradle pin...Its almost like a ddt in pro wrestling in some ways. It is a high percentage takedown if you have a good standing front headlock on somebody...cool video

I used this move many times in my high school wrestling career, not as a choke of course, just a front headlock takedown throw to pin, or back exposure. it is pretty rare and never expected and is very effective. It in some ways is almost like a DDT and sometimes the opponents head smashes the mat hard depending on the angle of the roll. This move and the lateral drop were my favorite most used moves from standup, leg riding in top position, front head lock series from the sprawl position!!!

The anaconda choke was my go to wrestling defense, I used to sprawl directly into it, you can even decide at the last moment id you go for the sub or the full mount.

The initial breakdown to the front head lock is also known as the reverse Russian and will often be called for possible injury on fold wrestling, so try a typical snap down or trip to get to the front head lock

No... There's a lot of good techniques that involve that like Anaconda and D'arce. And a good technique to control from top like the Gift Wrap.

my god, i just grab him in the anaconda choke standed, and then i just pull up and i throw him over me, after that i can mount or sided control. Risky but simple and unespected.
