Speaking of pies, ice cream and such….please consider doing a video on how you manage a low cab diet in the RV. We have done low carb for years before going full time in our RV, but we were at the grocery every three days to buy fresh foods & vegetables. And the RV is not great to cook in using several pots & pans. Please give some tips on eating ‘low carb in an RV’. Thanks
@LivinRVision11 ай бұрын
It’s definitely hard to eat low carb when traveling full time. There are so many new places we want to go to when we see them along the way. For us, it’s easier during the week because we work so many hours and we fast in the mornings (only having coffee) and then we eat a light lunch of either a salad, protein smoothie, or meat & cheese with Keto or GF bread or without bread. The weekends are harder because we’re usually traveling or just out and about. We try to stick to low carb as much as we can but have cheated a lot lately, lol. Need to get back on it!
@Banagal11 ай бұрын
So let's talk ice cream real quick. Have you tried Halo ice cream? It's low cal and pretty good. Not as good as the real thing, but still gets the ice cream monkey off my back and I can fit in my snug jeans. LOL. Those beautiful fall colors just flew by...while you were on the downhill rollercoasters. Expensive day but well worth it. That place is probably freezing about now and possibly covered in snow. Surprising what a month can bring. Thanks to you both for the video!

Just watched this video, and loved it. Seems like Anakeesta is kind of expensive?? My question is, we are coming out of a Ford using a garmin gps for navigation, and going into a 2023 LTV on the Mercedes Sprinter chassis. Do you use your Mercedes navigation? It seems like you always use your phone? Which do you prefer? Thanks for your help.. :-)

We just prefer the Apple or Google gps over most vehicle gps units, including Mercedes. Just seems easier to understand and see but may be just because we are used to it.

We would have loved to meet you as well! Our videos are behind. It takes an entire week just to edit each one because of all that is put into them. Plus with our traveling, when we see more than one thing in a single weekend or week, those are separate videos, therefore they are schedule on a week apart. Right now you are watching about 3 weeks back. Most KZbin channels also do this for safety reasons since these videos are out there for the world to see. Sorry we missed y’all! Hopefully we will meet up eventually. 🧡😊🤓

As a local to Knoxville , I try to stay away from Gatlinburg like the plague but since we were back in town for a few days I thought we would give Anakeesta a try after watching your video. Right now for Christmas they have a light display going on ( additional fee of course like everything up there ) so we bought our tickets to go up and go to the light display at night. $120 and boy the disappointment was unreal. You are basically paying to go shopping at pathetic LITTLE gift shops and eat from concession type food areas, except for the bbq restaurant that you guys ate at and an overpriced steak place. I get it , you did the tourist thing so maybe that’s why your opinion of it wasn’t as bad as mine but for anyone else , you can go walk around the parkway in Gatlinburg and do the same shopping and have better food then spending $80 to ride a glorified ski lift chair. I’m really surprised Michelle didn’t mention the huge disappointment that was “pie in the sky” at the top of Anakeesta. When I saw that I figured well at least I can maybe get a good piece of pie. NOPE. It’s an ice cream shop that sells slices of apple and cherry pie. That is it!! Why you would name an ice cream shop “pie in the sky” is beyond me but this tourist money grab surely did. As a local , it baffles ALL of us why people come to the zoo that is Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge to go on vacation. It’s an absolute joke of an area that has become nothing but a glorified ( and not in a good way) amusement park by developers who could care less about destroying every mountain top with another ridiculous skywalk and mountain coaster.
@LivinRVision11 ай бұрын
We’re surprised you didn’t hear us mention that about the pie place. We mentioned it should be named “ice cream” and not “pie”.

Well, Michelle unless I’m crazy(and we all know that I am) It seems that you may have trimmed your hair. I know the you didn’t do that to keep your hair out of your PIE while eating cause you seem to be on strike 😂. That roller coaster is a definite NO for me. The colors are incredible. We were just in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg about 3 weeks ago. Oh hell no that second roller coaster would have made me toss my cookies 😮. What time of year were you there, because 3 weeks ago the color was no way as bright as in your video. PIES finally. I almost cried when you took a bite of that pie.
