yo these videos are so valuable man. i went dawless/hybrid because my adhd makes it difficult to get inspired when i'm making music in front of a computer screen, especially with how much i stare at a screen every day anyway between work and games and stuff, and i got discouraged because nobody ever really talks about how difficult that adjustment period going from daw to hardware can be. to me it felt like learning everything all over again. but content like this not only makes it way easier to get used to doing everything with hardware, but also makes it easier to start having fun with it. the concepts you talk about are important enough to really make a difference on the quality of music once you can effectively implement them, but the videos are succinct and hands-on enough that they're easily digestable, especially to someone like me with adhd who has a tough time sticking with dry, technical video tutorials and books/write-ups. even just in the past couple days, i feel like i've really leveled up from your channel, so i really appreciate what you're doing

plus it really helps that your setup is pretty damn close to what i'd like to eventually work my way towards, i've got a model d, a td3 (the behringer 303), a novation circuit for drums and sequencing, and a zoom multi fx pedal, and i'll probably get one of the newer mpc's soon because i've always wanted one, and an sh101 clone after that at some point. i was afraid it'd be harder to find content relevant to my specific setup and workflow and it's nice that i don't have to worry about that now lol

Wow! That really is amazing to hear. I understand you completely when it comes to the attention span and I’ve also roamed KZbin for like forever but I never really gelled with what I was searching for. So in hopes of this what you have said, I’m happy that it’s reaching its goal. Don’t be a stranger, also sign up at my Patreon page. Besides that it helps the channel, on my Discord page there are more of us. Hahaha. Thanks for checking brother!!

Love the way you create grooves, but the percussion is actually really stripped back. It's all the other samples and stuff that are making it. Very inspiring stuff.
@AnalogKitchen3 жыл бұрын
I did use to do that but found that the attention span got decided between what was needed and what was in her face. Better this way! Thanks 🙏🏾 for watching

Yoooo....... I’ve just discovered you with this video, I’ve listened few sentences and I’ve INSTANTLY DESTROYED the subscribe button + bell. Dude we need more guys like you, making true clever electronic music I mean, I instantly got that you make just REAL music, by electronic instruments. And not commercial stupid shit like too much people Anyway I already love you I swear you, so happy to found you. Just for give you an idea about me I’m 40 and into music 95 (mixing on turntables and composing on RM1X), then you know I didn’t have enough money to evolve my music so I made a break until......................6 months ago. Yes... Bought a MPCX and a HYDRASYNTH, soon an analog synth (I’m going on a MinilogueXD I think) Big salut from France 🇫🇷 VINZ. 🙋♂️
