Looking forward to read the ‘when breath becomes air’. I have heard great things about the book, thanks for showcasing the book, Ana. Last week I did read ‘Thinking fast and slow’ and the Hemmingway’s ‘the old man and the sea’. I am currently reading ‘Steve Jobs’. Selected poems of Robert Frost and will be here by tomorrow. Happy reading🎉

Frost made sure to be out of there long before they ran that noisy road through the place 😄😸 I have spent a little time in the upper New York State country and in the Adirondacks back in the Boy Scouts. These days you can't get me out of NYC anymore. We have parks here for the nature stuff and did you know our parks are full of migrating bird species each Spring that country towns do NOT ever see? And I'm sure you picked up Frost thinking winter poems as we all do (the name, obviously) only to find just as many spring and summer ones
@AnaWallaceJohnson Жыл бұрын
Hahaha! Yes, Frost got the hellouttathere before that. Though, it's not a huge highway, so I can't even complain that much. And yes! Frost isn't as frosty as you'd think. He's got more of a spring in his step tehehe

1) Never in the history of ever have I thought of a vulva when using a peach emoji. 2) I LOVE PHYSICAL 100. So goddamn heartwarming. It hit everything I ever wanted in a show. I kept saying out loud “this is my favorite show ever.” Check out Run For The Money. Not as great as Physical 100 but basically it’s a giant game of hide and seek from “the hunters” in a Japanese amusement park.

I feel like we have similar tastes so I figured Id share what Im reading here too!!!! Currently listening to My Year of R&R by Ottessa Mosfegh finally and I am really liking it, as I did her book Lapvona. She read it herself on Audible and I swear she has one of the best voices for the job. Ive also been eyeing up Near to the Wild Heart, which my boyfriend got me on valentines. Another book I have been dying to read is the memoir by James St James, Disco Bloodbath / Party Monster. I loved the movie so much. I have been trying to read Even Cowgirls Get the Blues by Tom Robbins and I really like his prose for the most part but the thumb thing, idk, kind of irritates me? Anyways another exceptional video and very interesting recommendations PER YUGE! 🌹
@AnaWallaceJohnson Жыл бұрын
Omg, literally obsessed with Party Monster. Found it on the side of the road, but turned it away because I think someone else needs it in their life more than me. Also love James St. James. I think I'm going to read more Ottessa this year. She's such a weirdo and I can't thank her enough for being authentically invested in that part of herself. It's refreshing!

I loved Physical 100, but they kept translating the F-word in Korean to "damn it" which I thought was hilarious. I don't know if that was also true in the dubbing. There's a lot of controversy surrounding it in Korea, about the games being rigged especially the finale, and them not showing exactly how injured people got, etc. But I still loved it
