The flute is actually called a shawm which is a double reed instrument a bit like the bagpipe but having an exposed reed and a conical bore. The "capped" version of a shawm is called a rauschpfeife. Both are quite similar and can easily reach a big 95 dB. And the first song is "Stella splendens" from the Libre Vermell followed by Salterello 2 (Anon. XIII)

The double reed sticks in a so called "pirruette". I got one myself. The second tune is "A madre du Jesu Christu".
