I still get excited for new episodes and I've watched all 50. I learn something new in each one.

One the best shows of the whole set. I really enjoyed the look back at the previous auction highlights. Seeing the results provides a good continuity between episodes. The candor, humor, and expertise are what I’m here for. 🎉

Congrats on #50 podcast 🤩! Your auction reviews are especially helpful for us collectors who may not have the time to cover all the important auctions taking place 😉.

Interesting comments on the grading service notes. As a novice I love slabbed coins, and just enjoy the coin regardless of the grade. (The only thing I'd really care about seeing on the slab is identification and authentication.) But I can see how a person with a mind to sell/trade may have a distaste for the "gambling" on the judgement of the grading services.

First off, CONGRATULATIONS on 50! Here’s a thought: Aaron you ought to set up a PPV discussion/debate with David Vagi over at NGC. I would buy that show…….Just a thought. Good luck, guys, for the next 50. Best wishes as always, Fred from Esmont, VA

@@fredgenchi25 I have spoken to NGC about that when I first started and they felt it was not good for them legally to be on the show.

@@coinman.ancient Really? Legally? Why, I wonder. Ducking the questions & issues we all are concerned about & for no good - legal - reason. Go figure.

Here's to 50 more, and please take your time. Better to do the podcast sustainably than burn out trying to feed the algorithm.

Doesn't NGC have NCS, their coin "conservation" service? Do they basically condemn any coin they didn't work on?
@coinman.ancient13 күн бұрын
@@markcooper7744 I guess it’s up to them how they consider restoration??????

I despise all these companies that are slabbing ancients; they seem so shady.
@Kornheiser1015 күн бұрын
Companies don't slab coins on their own. It's lazy "collectors" or "investors" that don't take the time. Also, sadly, people don't have to worry too much about unscrupulous sellers if they stick to buying slabs...
@steve225615 күн бұрын
@@Kornheiser10 you do have a point, but the companies imply they prove the coins are authentic yet in the fine print do not actually guarantee anything. That is what I find unethical and proves to be they are a scummy company
@Kornheiser1015 күн бұрын
@steve2256 Oh, the irony that a company that has Guarantee as its middle name actually does not guarantee the authenticity of the coins they slab is tremendous. More like NMC, Numismatic Maybe Company.
@steve225615 күн бұрын
@@Kornheiser10 I like that. I believe that is how I will refer to them from now on.
