When speaking about history, in an educational manner, it would not violate youtubes rules to speak about ancient mind altering substances. If done well, with adequate research and the goal of education, I think your audience would rather enjoy the content. I know i would. The human fascination with altering consciousness is ubiquitous and honestly, it's human nature.

maybe they wanted to be sure they got what they wanted. I am plagued with the fear of be careful what you wish for because of something done in my past out of immaturity and now i know to be careful but also detailed with what I will from the god/desses . In fact these spells don't sound that different from mine, in detail at least lol The spell for the beer and honey. It sounds like gratitude. I learned to always be grateful and come to the god/desses with gratitude and so will often hold special but simple ritual of gratitude like the one you quoted except not for beer of course lol

Thank you so much for this video. I've been wondering if someone had analyzed the spells to find useful modern applications. I work with pathworkings for the gods and the magick is more direct and closer to modern practice. I'm very interested in writing spells in accordance to how they created and used them.

That is the crux. We are not the Ancient Egyptians and our wants and needs are different in many ways. For me, it has been taking the forms and spirits found in these spells and creating something that suits my purpose. Guidance from the spirits helps a lot. You will also find wider application the more you learn the deeper meaning of the symbols.

I tend to talk about complex and specific subjects on this channel, but I certainly didn't start that way. In the end, magic is something you have to do. F around and find out.

Can ancient egyptian magic be performed?

That's an interesting question. An argument can be made that since we don't live in that environment at that time we will never truly understand what the Egyptians meant. Which I think is relatively true. But there are plenty of Ancient Egyptian spells that can be replicated in the modern age. And even if you can't exactly replicate them they can still be effective and have meaning. Like I said, the Egyptians themselves would borrow spells and even gods from other cultures.

A long time ago, I think I was able to. I make a clay figurine with my bully's name in heiroglyphics. I put a lot of intention into it and meditated on it. I did not have a direct instruction, but I wanted it to cast a spell of revenge. The bully got a stomach virus the next day.
