@@chigidychad9738 I was doing side missions almost all the time and completely avoiding the main story as this was my strategy with RPGs games lol. I was lvl 40 and hadn't gone after most of the order of ancients yet. Doing all of these missions and exploration and not experiencing the story made me get bored eventually and I gave up on it for almost 2 years. I decided to hop back into it and changed my approach. I keep a healthy balance between side quests and main story with my games now. Helps alot.

If anything that region around Helles was only ever under foreign rule by the Crusader forces and Normans. The closest ‘oriental’ force I can’t think of is the Bulgarians who had close relations with eastern peoples but they were tributary rulers, they didn’t desire to settle many of the cities they often captured from the Thracian planes.
