I've said it before and I'll say it again, Triple H was right about Punk essentially saying "He's your problem now" After his WWE Departure everyone was convinced it was WWE's fault but now? I 100% doubt that. The altercation with the Elite, Colt, Ryan Nemeth, Matt Hardy, possibly Miro and now Jack Perry? there's a common denominator here folks. The problem is TK has his nose so far up Punks ass he won't do anything about it. What's going to be the fall out THIS time? Punk gets another show? maybe his own PPV? Or does Punk just keep banning wrestlers from Collision? it'll get to the point where the roster for Collision is going to be Punk, FTR, HoB and Andrade and that's it until someone in that group makes Punk feel they "wronged" him in some fashion. If everyone you meet you feel smells like shit then buddy maybe it's time you look under your shoe. Don't get me wrong I used to be a huge CM Punk fan all the way back to his ROH days but now I just really wish he'd go away.
@meciocio Жыл бұрын
Triple H wasn't right about Punk. They literally forced him to work while injured and just mistreated him constantly. Of course the aew stooges like miro, matt hardy, chris jericho or jack perry are siding with the Elite. The Young Bucks, and also the executive vice presidents, basically hired all of them. Look at Jericho, he has the best time of his life because they let him do any kind of story/angle he wants too so he just turns a blind eye.
@spheremode3271 Жыл бұрын
He didn't have an altercation with Colt. Wtf are you talking about? Are you implying he got Colt fired? Did he do that while he was suspended for Brawl Out too? Because aside from that one time, we've never seen Colt on anything, and Punk was sitting at home, not involved with anything. He also didn't do anything to Miro, it was just 1 tweet by Miro, nothing more.

@Trustme77 The issue is that when shit goes wrong with real glass, it goes really, really, REALLY wrong. **Lethally** wrong. It's been long speculated that Tony, as part of him hiring Punk, gave him an ownership stake in AEW and has been hiding this for a while since even the Elite don't own a part of the company and are just, at the end of the day, hired hands and it being one of the rumored reasons why the Elite despise Punk. Also, there have been rumors that to basically placate Punk being put in what amounts to a containment show, that MJF won't appear on Collision/defend the world title on Collision, and the fact that the Elite have been rumored to be threatening to blackball anyone who volunteers to work Collision, that Punk has been given complete booking control over Collision along with the tag titles/FTR being made exclusive to Collision; also why Punk was allowed to basically severe the world title lineage and declare himself the real world champion (since MJF won't defend his belt on Collision and only appeared so as to job to FTR as retaliation since MJF can't piss off the Elite by being a regular on Collision and have his big feud with Punk already).

I just hear this situation and I just can’t think anything other than Jack Perry is a child. He gets told to not do something dangerous involving glass that wouldn’t have moved ratings or been remembered like a month later by everyone under the sun involved with Collision and he throws a tantrum that has to be handled by Punk. Then, when he gets green lit by Khan to do the spot (on the pre-show of all things for no reason), he isn’t focusing on how to slam Hook so it’s safe but looks like they’re in a real fight. Instead, he completely breaks the immersion of the show by taking a jab at someone completely not involved in the match that made no sense to do in that moment. I’m trying to be fair, but how on earth did he think that would go over? He’s already being made a heel because of how lukewarm he’s been as a babyface and his poor, aloof attitude at fan festivals, so as much as this might be on brand for Punk, it’s just as much so for Perry and he does a lot less for AEW than Punk.

The people who heard about this story, and say "Punk wasn't wrong this time" baffle me. We don't even have the full story, because everything surrounding the original glass argument is all over the place in the dirt sheets. Jack may have had a good reason to be annoyed by Punk. Also, what right does Punk have to continuously intimidate, and get in younger wrestler's faces? This is an over 40+ year old man picking fights with people 20 years younger than him. Instead of being a mature adult, he's acting like a tough guy in middle school. If he was upset by Jack's comments, he could have just told management to deal with it instead of trying to get physical over it. It's the most immature response possible. Punk is a literal Diva who can't stand the slightest negativity thrown his way. If the guy quits AEW, I would be extremely happy. I'm so sick of hearing about this dude acting like a child. That being said, the comment by Perry was a bit childish and unnecessary about the car windshield and seeing how Punk reacts to things its not surprising that this happened between the two afterwards.
