Hangman Page made one throwaway line that only maybe 2% of the live crowd or someone that reads the observer would have understood. That has happened countless times in wrestling history. Punk called out hangman in a shoot promo during an angle he had nothing to do with knowing Page wasn't there. Then he stopped mid promo to call out ONE fan who chanted Colt Cabana in an audience full of people cheering wildly for him. Then he started a rant at a scrum completely unprovoked making an entire room of journalists and the founder of the company uncomfortable. He instigated EVERYTHING in this situation. Punk as a wrestler is great but HOW can people defend the person at this point? It is so clear he is at fault, I'll never understand Punk apologists.

@jthom00272 жыл бұрын
@Cold Snap He does care about workers' rights. You do realize he can despise a person and still care about workers' rights, right? That is such a stupid argument. Plus, both Punk and Khan have stated that Punk had zero to do with Cabana's job security. I would venture to guess that a guy that was barely used on tv and moved the needle zero times may have just been kept off tv and eventually released like so many others in AEW have been. Is that a viable possibility to you or do you just want to blindly hate Punk at all times and leave your objectivity behind?
@jthom00272 жыл бұрын
@Cold Snap Have you ever thought to yourself that Kingston's line was actually ok'd by Punk? Punk has never said that Kingston went into business for himself. In fact, none of the dirt sheets did either. Punk was pissed at Page for actually going off script and bringing up a very sore subject. Page did that because Page is a bitch. And its not about being a Punk defender or not, its about seeing bullshit happen and having the proper response to it. Almost everything that has happened to Punk in AEW was brought about by the EVP's and Page. Punk is responsible for his media scrum outburst but I even understand why he did that. He had a boss that wasn't going to squash the issue and he had EVP's that were never going to stop leaking shit to their friends in the "media". Its ok to like the "elite" and not like Punk but its not ok to see what is going on in this situation and totally siding with the "elite" bitches. It's an entire thing you can research online. I'm not saying here that one side is to blame or not, I'm saying that an internal corporate investigation finding in favor of it's officers isn't exactly earth shattering news or proof they were actually in the right.

That sounds like an absolute lie. Try to hit a dog in the snout with a door. See how many times you don't make contact. Also, if the dog were hurt theat badly, the entire locker room would have heard it, because the dog would be shrieking. So, Steele is watching the dog, that he is holding up against the door, and then he puts it down to fight Kenny Omega? The attorney from AEW knows exactly what happened, since she was there. I'm not saying what happened did in fact happen. What I am however saying is IF the dog did in fact get hurt from the door being opened - I can completely empathize with Punk only on the basis that I like animals WAY more than I've ever liked any one person. Edit: In response to Dave commenting that it was never mentioned prior - Ace Steel took a BITE out of Kenny Omega while carrying Larry, a chair was thrown, Steel's wife was "trapped" in the room, among a cavalcade of other crap - I'm sure many details were lost in the fall out of all out.
@Trustme772 жыл бұрын
Yes, if I saw my dog get hit by a door that flew open, I would be pretty angry at the person who opened it myself. But I think Dave has a point and that this is the kind of thing where--again, if it was me--if it happened like that and I were telling my side in the beginning, I wouldn't have just said "They kicked in my door!" like he did. I would've said "They kicked in my door and hurt my fucking dog!" Odd that he would leave that out of his initial account. It wouldn't be the kind of thing I'd gloss over so that I could talk about what Ace Steel was doing.
