You can also take a sewing machine and sew two small pleats in back waistband, one on each side. No more than an inch each. So they are half inch when sewn. You taper it down to bottom point. I did that sometimes.

5 foot eight is not what I would consider a tall girly. You may be taller than a lot of other girls, but 5 foot eight can find pants in stores if you’re 510 and above as a woman, you can call yourself a tall girly because that’s when you have to shop for pants online

I would kill to have this problem. Instead I'm the opposite where I have a big waist and stomach and the tiniest hips and butt. Even if I found pants that fit well they will never be flattering. My body type is not considered desirable

Personally i think they look too tight on you. Get a size bigger and get the waist reduced by a tailor, or by yourself with pleats. Also let them hang a little lower.
