After setting up critical infrastructure G.O.I could take steps to implement an extremely attractive tax regime to encourage FDI and DDI. Then allowing incentives to establish a film industry or atleast a film city there which once established will fertilize an input of skilled workforce and encourage the creative industry there which will in turn stimulate the influx of tertiary businesses or MSME's at the very least. If all goes well, in the future the Singapore model can be established to encourage the financial services sector. Or in the short term the tourism industry can be encourage on the lines of Mauritius or even Maldives to give Indian tourists suitable options. The quicker the Islands in the Nicobar and Andaman region get up and running the better, as it extends and cements the identity footprint of India viz a viz regional perception.

@@ashleyfernandes6520 no, it's not , it need capital, already thousand of people visit andaman when i visited andaman, the whole airport to ferry was occupied, mostly domestic tourist , 20 to 30 foreign tourist, If government spend more, it can easily replace maldives, thailand nd all other tourist spots Andaman is very beautiful, like a paradise, the best thing it's Raw, complete blue water nd white sand, world best beaches, congress literally neglected such beautifull place but now developing very fast
