This is definitely one of the best sounding I’ve heard so far. In my opinion. Really just dead on with these tones. Great sounds.
@EwainW6 жыл бұрын
That has to be the best sound like to date. Spot on tones that were so instantly recognisable it took me back 10yrs and made me dig out their albums. Don't you love it when you re-discover old favs? Cheers guys, you just made my day!

Hey guys it'll be cool if you did videos like "Blues rig without busting the bank" and "metal rig by busting the bank" and so on. I'd love to know your preferences on each genre! Just thought it was a neat idea:)

18:48 much love for making sure Dirk got credit there. Nothing against Ben Kenney, but Dirk was the bassist through all their albums up to and including Morning View, which were the years I was most actively into them. So he's always got a special place in my heart in regards to Incubus.

This is my all time favourite sounds like video. I wasn't even a fan of incubus before i watched this.this video changed things 😅 absolutely amazing! Chills..
@JasonTMays6 жыл бұрын
Not to be that guy, but he started using Jazzmasters right after the morning view era. For light Grenades he started using that vintage Gibson coupled with the Jazzmasters and for the touring cycle of INNW he started using the EBMM Albert Lee. But he switched back to the Fender Telecaster after that. Also, he recorded and started recording with/playing with a Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster Thinline right around INNW. I'm probably one of the few fans that actually prefer Mike Einzger with a Jazzmaster rather than a PRS...even more so my favorite era of incubus was ACLOTM through INNW. But anyways. I really enjoyed this video and I'm just a fan of Mike Einziger.

He also used chorus and flanger pedals and a. Maxon 808 back in the Science and Enjoy incubus records from the late 90s ! My fav 2 albums 🤘🏼 And he used a Mesa boogie dual rectifier ( the old 90s TWO channel ones....the best Recs) blended with a Marshall jcm 900 slx super lead

He uses Music Man live, he went almost full on Fender, being that mainly Jazzmaster and then Telecaster (surely he used Strats and some other stuff here and there). PRS is the 'classic' Incubus, Fender is the 'modern', if we split into pre and post Morning View. Mike and Rabea, that would be a duo to remember.
