The most impressive thing about stuff like this is that you can't just plug this into a computer and see what happens. You have to design it. It has to exist in someone's mind first. It's easy to write it into a script. But having to actually visualize it, turn it into something that people can see and say: "Yeah I get why everybody thinks this is totally worth going on a pilgramige for every 3 years!", that is just crazy.

I like Luthen laughing at the end. He doesn't know who died, how much money was taken, or even if it failed. He cares only that it happened and that it moves his other plans forward

I think he does care a bit but there has to be a sense of vindication or whatever when something you have planned out comes off so well and it is all over the news like he wanted. I appreciated his laugh rather than like a sad nod or something because you would be feeling the thrill of "YES!"

Perfect reaction. The reason it is the best version of Star Wars to me is because it is the first time I got to feel the tension and extremity of this world. The Empire is scary, they not all bumping helmets on bulkheads, missing their shots, and getting choked out by Vader. Some of these folks are true believers for a legit evil regime, too real. especially these days when mfs goes full mask off irl.

Points for noticing how lethal the Empire can be. Yes they can aim. Other shows/movies can make the Empire look goofy n stuff. Here they are a menacing bureaucracy to most folks.
