The about face foundation is sooooooo good! It’s looks incredible on my mature, Sahara Desert dry, 54 year old skin. You can’t even tell I’m wearing any foundation at all. And the longevity is fantastic! For the last 2-3 years the Ulta Complexion Crush foundation has been my holy grail……,but it has been knocked down to 2nd place. I love the fact that there are so many shades and undertones available. I picked 2 shades and they both match me better than any foundation I have tried. I can’t wait to see how you like it!

I'm 41 but when I was like 38 is when I saw my first real what is happening 😮 in the mirror lol 😂. I got mostly hyper pigmentation, lots of grey hair and my skin tone wasn't the same, also dry skin. It took me a while to figure a new routine but I swear Korean beauty is what's working for me. I use retinol now and different serums and my skin got so much better. I adjusted the way I do makeup but I didn't stop using eyeshadow like so many recommend. I hope this somehow helps 😅 try Korean skincare. ❤love you !

So nice to see you back! I feel the same way as you when it comes to complexion products and ageing. Full coverage and super matte foundations doesn’t look the way they used to. I’m turning 49 this year and my preference and what looks good have totally changed. I’m fortunate to have quite good skin ( and I try to take care of it ) and no wrinkles. But I feel like no matter how much I moisturises my face, a flat matte foundation looks super heavy and I don’t like the feeling on my skin. I’m excited to see you trying the new foundation from about face! From what I’ve seen it’s a beautiful product. 💕

I’ve considered getting that Natasha palette. But I’ve just waited and taken a step back. I love one and done eyeshadows but I could easily get a super shock eyeshadow that I like and call it good. Im on the go so much that I actually tend to use blush and bronzer on my eyes instead of digging through my drawer to find a palette. Plus I have so many cheek products that I’d almost feel guilty buying more.

I bought a good majority of what you talked about (i have issues lol) but that one is not a regret for me. I think you’ll get tons of use out of it. Also i felt the same about the shadows in ND palette and i recently watched a video on Ig where she explains they’re one and done shadow formula. So she DID make them to be used as individual shadows and not a color story palette.

the mario palette is gorgeous, but i also have neutrals already. can see that people with cool-toned skin would really enjoy it though. the milk blush also seems too gimmicky to really be a good and functional product and i’m also not keen on shimmery lip products!

The cloud paint bronzers are sooo nice. Also the Natasha palette - the eyeshadows are meant to be one and done shadows so that’s why the color story doesn’t seem cohesive. I didn’t think I’d like the palette but it works so well on my fair skin tone. Natasha described it as a “no makeup makeup” palette and that is my experience. All the colors are soft and buildable. Also I’m definitely buying the Mario palette! I don’t own an all matte, cool palette and it would fill a void for me 😀

MY GIRL you should definitely try the new Elf Hydrating CC foundation!!! I hated the original too - super cakey and heavy but this one is WAY DIFFERENT! It’s so dewy and pretty on the skin and doesn’t feel like the original one at all. I have shade 205N and it’s the perfect shade for me but people say it can run dark so I’d probably go with that shade or lighter ❤

Hope you are getting rest when you can. When I feel my face looking “agey” I put one of my face masks in the fridge and I feel refreshed and hydrated after a quick 20min. I bought the ND pallet, I plan on using the darker bronzers for eyeshadow. I enjoy her pricy formula and also like a multiple use pallet.

New to your channel. Congratulations on your new addition. 😅. I spent months and money trying to find a good foundation when suddenly what had always worked no longer did. I eventally ended up with Lancomb. Pricey but it stays in place, the color remains true and it does not settle into my fine lines and I wrinkles. I don't wear makeup daily so it does last longer and every so often I can find it 50% off so I stock up.

Nyx has some new bronzers out that I’m interested in seeing in stores. From the swatches they look like more of a pinker, blonzer tone compared to other bronzers. Nyx doesn’t really have a ton of staple powder cheek products atm so I’m really curious about the formula

I will be 64 next month. I find that I am pay more attention to skin care than make up than I used to. I use light coverage foundations or sometimes just concealer with a light fluff of powder. And a smile is the best beauty secret! Congratulations on your new baby!

The new makeup by Mario palette looks good, I can see myself using it everyday now that my UD mini naked 2 is almost gone and probably discontinued...it's hard to find neutral tones that don't pull orange in my fair cooltoned skin. I am 73, so have my share of lines and wrinkles! I couldn't wear the original elf cc cream because of the octinoxate sunscreen. The hydrating version doesn't have that, and I really like it. It doesn't feel heavy and has a nice finish. So, maybe give it a try.

The Natasha palette eyeshadows are supposed to be one and done eyeshadows, that’s why they look like they don’t go together, and from the reviews I saw the pans from the bronzers are so small that you have to use a smaller bronzer brush and mix the first 2 shades or the 2nd and 3rd shade.

I think bare moisturized skin is the key to the milk jelly stick. I don’t heard a lot of ppl calling that out, instead they just write it off. I love it, but I do a lot of bare skin with blush. It lasts all day and has a nice natural wash. I don’t think putting it on top of anything would work well.

That definitely makes sense! I tried a blush from Tarte not too long ago and I couldn’t get it to work until I tried it on bare skin and it worked really well. I feel like it could be the case for a lot of serum or gel type products.

Do you think it would work on top of tinted moisturizer? I have had trouble with milk products & it's too expensive (my skin went crazy this winter & all my beauty $ has gone to skincare lol), but I am definitely seeing more and more of the jelly texture & I looooove water/humectant based products where you see the color, but the product itself just completely melts in. For my aging skin, less is definitely more, but I do need a light complexion product to tone down my uneven skin tone.

The milk jelly blushes look interesting but I’m not much of a blush lover so I will pass The mario palette is definitely a pass I feel like I have similar shades in the ND glam palette which has been my favorite that and her bronze palette 😍 The ND new palette I would love to buy but might wait for a good sale

Congratulations on expanding your family! Going from 1 to 2 was hard, but when I was pregnant with #3, a good friend of mine told me she felt like she went from 2 to 5 and that was the perfect description 😂

If you watch a video from Natasha Denona about her palette, the eyeshadow colors are not meant to be used together. They are all supposed to be “one and done“ colors. She wanted to create an everyday palette that could be used quickly and easily for a variety of customers.

It really is nice to see brands making the shift and releasing more true neutral palettes! So many of my neutral palettes are so red and orange toned.

You def don’t need the SF lip oils - for me the colors are gorgeous but it has too much slip and I like a thicker oil. The SF balms are like Pokémon for me lol gotta catch ‘em all. (Except I know I won’t like brown sugar) lol
