Our Impulse Shopping Trip ║ Large Family Shop with Me │ June 2018

We picked up quite a few impulse items this time during our monthly trip to Walmart, including a new game, a popsicle maker and new divided food trays for the kids. Even so, our total came to $512.21, on the lower side for one of our trips. We picked up things for our Independence Day party as well as our usual items. (We buy most of our food on a weekly basis at our local grocery store. We've also got a garden and occasionally order bulk food/baking supplies from another place.) Since we've been doing our shopping on Date Night, we had dinner first at Old Chicago with a big "Thank you!" to Susan Bailey for the Old Chicago gift card.

This is so freaky. My guess was $502. This was a hard one with all of the small impulse items. I go by the quantity and just the feel of how much is going in the cart. I live alone and I only had one child as a single parent so I never shopped in quantity ever. My heart would love it if you could do a girls day out with just Eden. I think she needs it. How is the girls’ room going? It was so thoughtful of Justus to buy that thing for Eden. Happy Independence Day Mills family!

It's hard to get out with having so much to do. Taking one child on outing seems an impossible idea at the moment! Thankfully, Eden and I have been enjoying a lot of time working together in the garden and visiting, just the two of us. She told me it makes her really happy. :)

Oh my goodness, yes, Tom! I have those same kind of fond, late night memories of marathon Monopoly games! My best friend and I would get off the school bus at one of our houses about 4 pm on Friday afternoon and we came up for air only to eat, go to the bathroom, and go to church twice on Sunday. lol SO many years! I'm surprised neither of us went into real estate. lol Tom vs cart- Tom still the champ! Can't wait for this year's bike parade! Thomas holding Hannah was so sweet. What a good daddy he is going to be some day.

This was such a fun video to watch! I don’t get to go grocery shopping with my husband very much, because he works so hard and is usually exhausted at night and on weekends. So normally I just go by myself. When we do go together, I absolutely love it! He always add random things to the cart and does goofy things to make me laugh :) Watching you and Tom shop together was nice and reminds me of the fun times I have with my own hubby :)

Now it's just my disabled son, my youngest and me. You'd think life would be easier but financially it was easier with all the kids than with one disabled son. It's not hard at all to drive a big van. The only thing that really took some practice was learning to park on the street because I had a hard time judging how close I was to the curb. I was always way to far out at first, but I got the hang of it.

Y’all shop like my husband and I. We have 9 kids too. Boys in the lead too. (6boys 3 girls) How many shopping trips to you do a month. We shop big around the first week of the month and then store trips to Walmart 1-2 x a week.

I was so impressed by the Beyblades the kids were playing with that I thought my grandson would like them. Looked like so much fun! We went to Walmart and I finally found some (wasn't quite sure what they were called). He knew exactly what they were, but decided he didn't want one because (drum roll), the people he knew that had them were so competitive about theirs that he didn't want to participate. Don't ask me, Andrea/Tom!! He's only 6-1/2 and is very "into" one-upmanship usually. Must be pretty awful for him not want such a cool toy. Oh well, I'm just the Granny Nanny here. Pretty funny. I was very surprised.

They were $5 a package and came with 4 each of trays, plates, bowls, cups, forks, spoons and knives. I think we're going to keep the trays and take the extras to Papa Gary's house and Grandma Kitty's house for the kids to use when they're visiting either of them.

It's a amazing your Wal Mart in USA has I seen alot of brands to today at our Safeway that's actually new and it's from there. My kids like those yogurt tubes too only if I put in freezer they eat them and it's lot messy .glad u had fun on your date night am always looking forward to it thanks.
