Tom! Please monetize these videos 💜 I can't help with the GoFund me but have been going back to rewatch Andrea. She gives me so much peace and calm 😊 I would like to give back somehow and I'd like to think all your other subscribers feel the same way (and are rewatching many videos right now). I absolutely agree and I’m pleased to see he’s started to do this, but with these older ones it would be great if they were monetised too. So many people are rewatching these wonderful vlogs and I’m sure would happily watch the advertisements to help the wonderful Mills family. Andrea gave us so much and she is still giving, and even though I can’t afford to donate I want to give something back to help.

Andrea, i don’t quite think you realised just how many of us got hooked on your channel, you have a very rare quality about you that makes you addictive ( in a very good way ) your passing has left a gigantic hole in our hearts, you were far far to young to be taken away from you family, especially your children and hubby but your vlogs will be such a god send to them eventually, when it will not be to painful to watch you. I know you will be watching over Tom & your children and directing them in the right direction on there life’s journeys, just know Andrea, you were one of a kind, there was something very special about you and the way you approached life and your way of teaching your children, they will definitely grow up kind, loving & well balanced. You truly are going to be missed so much. God must of had a very important purpose for you to call you home far far to early. Good night Andrea, sleep tight. Xxxx

My mom passed away in 2008. On her birthday or other special day, I like to buy a candy she liked, eat a meal she really enjoyed and watch a TV show or movie that she loved. It's a good way for me to remember her. I also look at photos, but then that makes me cry..

I feel like I missed out not knowing her all these years but have enjoyed watching her videos and have come to realize she was a very talented woman, painting her walls, organizing, building shelves, shopping, home schooling and truly loving all her children, scrapbooking and always thinking of others. She rarely bought herself anything because she lived her life to be there for others. Truly a disciple sent from above. This is one of the positives of social media, without youtube we would never have seen or known her. Rest in Peace, Andrea you ran a good race and I know God is pleased with you.

I really like your shopping videos. I guessed $500 dollars at Walmart. You put so much work into this, editing in the pictures of other shopping and showing the printout of what you ordered online. Plus, it was only yesterday that you went shopping. Do you ever sleep? I like to see your boys carry in the groceries. Thanks for the view of how your family shops and eats.

Your sleep question made me laugh; sometimes it doesn't feel like it! I smile when I get suggestions for all the money-saving (read: labor-intensive) things I could do. Oh Andrea! I love these videos so much! I admire your restraint in Dollar Tree - only spending $3.15?! OH FRIEND...teach me your ways! HAHAHAHAHA! :) Watching your "shop with me" videos are so interesting and helpful! For March, I tried only going shopping 2 times, and I know it saved money. I was also surprised to find that we still have plenty of food left (for meals). Our snack bins seem to go dry first, too, but they kids will survive, lol! My husband and I enjoy comparing what we do to what you and Tom do; it's very encouraging. I will say, that song you used at the end of this video, seems to fit the countryside of WY very well. That song always makes me tear up, too, especially when you get home and Tom is out there just a-smilin' at ya! It's just so so sweet! I'm pretty sure this was the same song you had on one of your other haul vids, when you came home, and Eden greeted you. Tears from me again! I'm such a SAP! :) :) Love your family; love your videos; love your attitude; love your willingness to share; love it all! I admire you and really wish WI was closer to WY! I feel like if I'm ever in your part of the country, it's going to seem so familiar (since we go on that drive with you, monthly). Thank you for sharing your world with us! I thank God that He's using you (and your family) in such a mighty way. :)

Hi Andrea, looks like you have a great shopping system. Thanks to you, I tried a monthly shopping trip this last month and I saved money too! I don't know how, but I did, so thank you! :) Just wanted to let you know if you are interested, that you can shop online at Costco.com and the majority of their shipping is free. You can even shop online without a membership, but there is a 5% surcharge on certain items. Not sure how much your savings would be versus Walmart, but I read somewhere that it is the best place to shop for paper goods. Thanks again for all the great tips, look forward to all your videos.

@TheMillsFamilyVlog
@TheMillsFamilyVlog 7 жыл бұрын
We do some composting, but we restrict it to food items (vegetable scraps, egg shells, etc.) because it's an open pile. Tom tried his hand at brick making. They had a lot of fun, but it was obvious it wasn't going to be practical for us. We burn most of our cardboard or use it in our garden, even then we have a hard time getting rid of all of it. There are only so many hours in a day!

I know fun, though, I was thinking more of your labor force the older they get the more they can do, it could be a long term project for school with older learning to teach the younger ones, even sewing of simple dresses for girls. the relationship between your children are so strong that making things for one another might appeal just a suggestion

I love these videos so much! I'm so glad you keep making them as I learn from your organization systems each time. I shop almost exactly like you-- I keep a well stocked pantry from my grocery store but went to WM each week for non grocery items. I have made my own inventory list and tried a monthly shopping trip last month. It worked soooo well!! I just compared my wal mart debit purchases over the month before and last month where I only went once and I saved over $200--which is half my budget just like you said. I'm a widow and single mom so that is a huge blessing for me!!! I only had to make one extra trip for a gift card. After seeing these last two trips, I have revised my list to include a holiday/ special days category so I can look ahead to see what holidays and birthdays are coming and get the cards, candles, etc at that time too. What a great idea!! I also added a section for some food items I get there since my grocery store doesn't carry them. I thought it was funny to see you get candles since I added them into my new list because that is where I buy candles but didn't think about it last month. 😊. I shop early in the month so my next trip is coming up soon with the new and improved list. The time and money savings is huge. Again, I thank you for sharing your ideas and life with us! You are helping me in my own homemaking endeavors so much. I appreciate you so much and love your channel!

Last school year I always made a meal for the whole family. Over the summer I let the kids do more of their own cooking and we stuck with that for this school year. I'm hoping to do a combination next year because there are great things about both ways. The older kids each prepare lunch for themselves and their little buddy. They have to have a main dish (sandwich, ramen, soup, leftovers, chicken, or something like that), a side dish (yogurt, pudding, fruit, carrots, chips, etc.) and a drink (almost always milk.)

It's birth order.(Judah can't wait for us to have another baby someday because the baby's color will be red like his and the baby will be Solomon's little buddy which will give Judah a 3-Buddy team.) Here's a visual way to see it: *Thomas*, _Asher_, Judah, *Justus*, _Eden_, Solomon, *Sophia* and _Claudia_.

I'm always so amazed at how you fit so many things into one grocery cart! I love these haul videos and enjoy how you take the time to break everything down for us, financially speaking. And, as an added bonus, I get to enjoy the spectacular driving views of your beautiful state! I live in Michigan and don't get a chance to see such wide open spaces... Keep up the great content, Andrea! You're my fave on KZbin!!!!

In a few years you are not going to be able to keep Eden out of the kitchen. She seems to love baking things in her easy bake oven. Just wait until she gets her hands on your oven.

Omg Andrea, you should go to Costco for your paper goods, baking supplies, etc. You will save a ton!

That would be nice, wouldn't it?! Costco is 265 miles away and Sam's Club is 120 miles away. Walmart's what we've got here in rural Wyoming. :)

If you want to save money on snacks, I would recommend getting the Micro popper by Nordic Ware. Target carries it or it can be ordered. You use your own oil and popcorn and can use the microwave to pop popcorn. It has saved us so much money!

Grocery shopping is one of my favorite things to do, so I enjoyed this video! I always like comparing prices based on where people are located. I noticed that some of your cheeses were cheaper than what I'm usually able to find, but your bananas were double what we usually pay! Interesting stuff. Sidenote: I would be interested in watching recipe videos from you if you ever have the time and were ever considering doing them!!

Totally get the awkward name forgetting. I do that quite often and try to find covert ways of figuring it out. In college there was a guy in one of my first classes that was an acquaintance. He knew my name that semester, but then we didn't have classes together again for the rest of the 4 years. At some point when we passed each other he started calling me a different name. I thought I heard him wrong so I didn't correct him. Then it keep happening and it was too late for me to correct him. It went on for over 3 years and I never could correct him. I guess I felt bad for him. I would start to get nervous every time I would see him coming, lol.

Hi Andrea! I've been binge watching your videos recently and at first I thought you and I couldn't be more different but I've come to realise we are one and the same - wives, mums, business women and homemakers. The only thing we don't have in common are the hemispheres we live on and religion/non-religion! How great is it that women get to be so similar yet so different. I love it! Keep doing what you're doing, lady! I'm enjoying learning from you.

I agree! My mom used to buy shoes and clothes for our family at Walmart(and she still does ). She knew it was going to last for only a short amount of time but because it was inexpensive it was worth it. Now we've learned that shoes and clothes (especially for me) last much longer and only cost maybe $10 more to buy them at Rack Room or Payless and places like that. But I also live in Florida where you're never not close to a big mall or stores specific for shoes so I can definitely see the advantages of buying them at Walmart living in a rural setting

Walmart needs to make bigger shopping carts lol! you got some good deals. I'm going to have to price compare what we get and see if Walmart is cheaper. we have Costco here so we usually just go there. thanks for sharing!
