What's so crazy is that these guys that are like comedians and hitchhikers have such engaging, insightful and interesting conversations. Theo and this dude are so grounded and alert of the world around them that they stopped viewing strange or difficult situations with coping mechanisms that may try and help to preserve sanity but are really distorting peoples perception of reality. Like they can see things for what they really are and find humor or understanding in them. The most mature and emotionally stable people know when to act immature and not take themselves seriously.

I think when you're exposed to many different types of people it helps you grow especially if you can really empathize with their stories and ways of life. It's like living multiple lives at once and the less judgmental you are about others, the more you can understand the more difficult moments of their lives and the "why" behind certain choices. All of that makes a person more aware, present and emotionally intelligent.

Just discovered this kid and his Channel 5. Loved the story about him walking around Seattle at 13, stoned and asking weird questions. I can totally relate as I’ve also done this. This was such a chillaxed yet sincere positive and grounded interview with Andrew on.
