Dear Andrew, Im just reading your books now (back to back). Wow! Thank you so much! I absolutely love your sartorial sense of humour, and the painstaking detail to upholstery, fabric, colour and cultural climaxes. You've inadvertently stitched a lot of missing links absent in many music history (herstory?) books. And of course, THANK YOU for giving us the Rolling Stones. You'll always be a Rolling Stone. Namaste. God Bless you. From Canada.

Thanks for uploading this, as a big Stones I've never seen footage of him. From what I have read, he comes across as a lot less camp and a lot less "flakey" than how he is portrayed in all the biographies out there.

I was fascinated to hear him talk. The tidbit about how rare it was to place long distance telephone calls in the early '60's was especially interesting...I would like to hear more of these sorts of insights from him. Very uniquely descriptive of what things were actually like in those days when the Stones and other British groups were starting out.

I am a big fan of ALO however regarding the books - simply put there is a whole lotta reading but not alot about his story. Although the Stoned and 2stoned books are wr by ALO - its actually contributions from people involved with ALO or people from the music business (ie Mickie Most,,,) ALO doesnt talk about The Stone or Immediate Records. The edito(Simon Spence)r of aforementioned books put together a book "Immediate Records Labels Unlimited" "Stone Free" is a book of people ALO admired (managers and/or producers). I would have loved to read more about ALO's life, of course Immediate Records. (Anyone know which Bobby Womack LP ALO produced? Its mentioned in ALO Orch and chorus "Rarites" CD1983) We love you Andrew you helped change the shape of the 60s , your music is timeless - I have purched all of the ALO orchestra Lps on CD from Japan, They are great !"16 Hip Hits" "Lionel Bart Plays Maggie May", "East Meets West" and "Rarities (for the singles)

If you think that he wasn't in it for the money you are stupid. He never paid any of the artistes or song writers on Immediate Records. Then he stole all the money and put it in a bank account in South America, That's why he was at lunch for 25 years as he puts it. The man is just a common criminal and should be behind bars.

+Tallie Carre You're guess is as good as mine. It possibly could have something to do with carefully worded contracts and different laws in different countries. Who knows.
