Mono vocal crush. Very good.

Ha. So true. That's just what he calls it since it's on a stereo channel. But I only sent a mono vocal to it, hence the mono vocal crush.

That sounds crushed to you? So interesting. I do 20 dB of gain reduction on the vocal channel (not in parallel) and follow it up with another compressor. I also record with a compressor. 😂

Do you think this is a lot of compression? I want my vocals to sound like this kzbin.info/www/bejne/hpeoi3eXp7qYgMksi=AXbK3iTFA8hDWVeT

Hello my friend, is there any possibility to publish a complete vocal mixing and mastering video in the style of Andrew Scheps?

Why use parallel bus instead of mix knob on the plugin?
@PaulEubanks9 ай бұрын
My thoughts as well. For plugins (or hardware!) that don't have a mix knob maybe this is useful, but almost every plugin these days has a mix knob.
@adissabovic9 ай бұрын
@@PaulEubanks On second thought, maybe the mix knob can't be automated and there's EQ and AUX sends on bus channels. So yeah, can be useful. :)
