If people are mad, then they are truly broke af - if you paid for the special, you paid for the exclusivity of seeing it early. That is exactly what you paid for, not the special but to see it early - I paid and it was 1000% worth it. The special also upended the industry because it was the BIGGEST middle finger to all streaming platforms bc they no longer hold all the cards. Big comedians have enough of a loyal following to put out their own shit and make it huge - but let's be honest, Schulz did a masterful job of marketing and getting the right influencers to market it. Shit, his marketing team may have plugged him into the influencer machine to advertise 🤯

Is it the funniest special I've ever seen? No way not even close. Is it the worst special I've ever seen? Same answer. I think it's a little above average. I do appreciate him putting it on youtube but it's not like he did it for some altruistic reason like many of the commenters would have you believe. He's likely to release it wherever makes him the most money, I would do the same.
