Very nice. Instead of pork ribs I add Kielbasa! Love fresh but will use smoked. I buy sauerkraut that has white wine in it . Love your ingredients! I grate the apple and carrot

Been eating this for years. Made with homemade kraut. Very German recipe. My German/Russian grandmother this just about every Sunday in the winter. Except she grated the apples. Most made with a pork roast.

I'd like to have this recipe adapted to crock pot, as that's what I normally use for spareribs & sauerkraut.

should have included the hardest part which is prepping the ribs. they don't look like that in the supermarket so how did they get that way?

Can you recommend a brand of white wine?
@furysmith65642 жыл бұрын
Looks great but you said never boil the meat but you brought it to a boil when you added the wine! And when do you add the kraut juice? With that said, I made it and it’s delicious, lol

Worst sauerkraut I ever had was cooked with apples. Leave out the apples and you will have an improved American dish.
