You bring a very good point. I always admired well thought out layouts on machinery and that why I am a Kubota fan. Cluttered and messy engine bays show lack of quality in my opinion. But there is a greater point to be made the best equipment manufactures are the ones who specialize in other stuff outside of agriculture and construction. IHI makes turbos, Energy plants, infrastructure and aero space engines. Kubota makes water treatment plants, precision equipment as well as they produce and supply materials to large companies. Yanmar is known to make good long lasting engines but they also produce energy systems and marine engines. Now I would assume the teams working on their aero space engines are different than the people who develop construction equipment. But by looking at the quality and attention to detail you can’t help to wonder the full extent of the rest of these company’s influence on their equipment. But there is another trend I see, the Japanese can make some fine equipment Yanmar, IHI, Kubota and others like Hitachi and Komatsu. But I credit their success if you will to their ability to set higher standards question the industry and make something consumers will love. Be glad I left out Yamaha, Subaru, Sony and every other Japanese Fortune 500. Great video sorry for the rant.

Andrew: Have you ever thought of doing an episode about all your machines, maybe have them all lined up small to big and explain what that machine was made for or if you found a better use for it in your line of business. I would find something like that very interesting. Just an idea. Im a big fan of your projects. Your smart, you work safe, you show the viewing audience how a job should be done right, the first time, im sure most people would agree that they would watch your videos over any home improvement show out there. And you got a cool dog ,you bring to all your job sites. Take care, stay safe. Mark.

Andrew, Nice progress on the build. It’s great that Levi got a day off. Won’t be long until he has Cody trained to supervise while he watches!

I'd love to see a video of what happens when you take logs to the sawmill - is it a guy that has his own equipment like you, or is it a big corporate sawmill?
