Oh! Andrew! Sorry if ramble here but i want to say a few things, hopefully coherently 🤣 I watched your videos years ago then i stopped but occasionally did watch ones and i started again seeing your videos. I found your videos as i used to live in Lewis, my mothers from there and im bit of a ferry, train , plane geek 😂 - i found a video you made about travelling by ferry. also the islands hold a special place for me and you as i discovered and you brought that to me and others! Honestly im sorry to hear what happened but also delighted you keep your integrity!! I feel like i got to know you and dougal from the videos! Its awesome! Honestly i think you are so on point with the nonsense that sometimes comes out of social media and its cool you refuse to follow that even if it is the hard path. I understand what you mean when you say your creativity is spent just now, you need time to take a break recharge, enjoy family other things snd the freedom:) Im glad you have that just now! You are a success for way more than because you tried! You brought us many nice videos, experiences and shared much of the Hebrides and other places too with us! Not to mention lifestyles and the van reviews! You did a lot! It was very informative and nice to watch! You reached people with your videos! Remember that for ever! Also i think you presented in a fantastic way, its professional clear and concise! You do a good job! And as you just explained you made quality content over content for the sake of it!! Thats rare and fair play to you ! So you are a success for sure! Thanks for the update! And Ill be interested in any future videos you make! ☺️ Stay safe and enjoy yourself, job and new found freedom!

Good to see you back, Andrew. During your hiatus we've been quite concerned for your wellbeing, so thankyou for providing this update. I must say, you're already looking much happier than in some recent videos, you've obviously been needing this change for a while. You're absolutely right in what you say, having the guts to take a risk and give something a shot is never a failure. The body of quality work you've produced during these seven years, and the following you've attracted as a result, are a story of resounding success. As for future content; well I'm sure we'll all agree that quality trounces quantity every time! Personally I'd much rather sporadic updates that I know have brought YOU as much joy to make, as they do me to watch, than you draining yourself dry trying to churn out content to a timetable. Though we'll most likely never meet, I've shared so much of your life through your videos that I somehow think of you as a friend. I suspect many others feel the same. And you always want the best for your friends. Take care of yourself and your family, and we'll see you when we see you!

Hi Andrew, so glad for the update. I’m delighted that you are happy and have a job you love. It’s quite the change, going from self employed. But needs must and I hope you are as happy as you seem. You will never regret being there for your mum and brother. It’s not all sunshine and roses I’m sure. The dogs look happy, all they need is love, aren’t they lucky? Will you still do your newsletter? I almost replied to your last one but then doubted myself, thinking you wouldn’t want some random person emailing you 🤣. Kent is beautiful so if you had to leave Uist it’s a decent substitute. That’s a long commute so don’t forget your own self care. Best wishes of the season my friend. You are a very special guy - love, Isabel. 🇨🇦

Andrew, that was a great chapter in your life which you enjoyed mostly I'd say. I enjoyed being a part of it by following & watching your videos, they were always awesome & insightful content. I guess once your hobby becomes your job it eventually just becomes mundane and inevitably interest & energy is lost. Now you areopening a new chapter in your life, where you have a new job which will pay the bills and provide you the wherewithal to once again make videos because you want to not have to. A hobby once again! All the very best in this next adventure, I'm really thrilled for you & what you'll produce next! 😎

But I respect you immensely for not giving into the drive to promote rubbish. I felt very broken hearted for you, having to leave Uist, as I had found my dream home in another Celtic place, Cornwall. I hope the job works out well for you. I'm a mum with adult child returned home for a shortish period too. From those side of the fence can I just say it is wonderful to have a son around again. Hi Andrew, I started watching your videos before our epic 8 week tour of Scotland. Thanks to you I have to say we fell in love with the place and is probably the best holiday we’ve ever had, so can understand why you are missing it so much… I think all proper and genuine people will be on your side and support your decision. Nevertheless there are some horrible individuals about who feel the need to respond with negative comments, but I’m guessing it’s one of the downside’s when we put ourselves out there in the world of social media … So wishing you all the best in your new career and new life down in Kent, “AND” Don’t let the B******do get the better of you. I’ll be keeping a lookout for any content you put up … Best wishes, Miranda ✊👍

Love your videos so much. I also love your reconnection with motorcycling! I’d love to see your videos that you create just for the fun of it. Your creativity and storytelling are inspirational. Thanks for all the sharing for all these years.

I'm a premium KZbinr member as I watch a lot . Plenty of variation in my watching so I see what you describe in content creators trying too hard to get views and the hawking around of product (Drones, bikes batteries food VPN's !! etc). Your life, follow your dreams and ambitions - especially the bikes ( I've a brace and ride a blood bike) Lots of ways to live life and videos for the fun of it sounds right for you and us ! Take care ride safe.

Exciting times for you Andrew. I do worry about the pressures some KZbinrs must feel to regularly produce content. Your volume of top quality output has been amazing and always a delight to watch. I'm still hoping that in a few months you might have the thought "it would be lovely to make a video about that" 😊

Super star quality never fades. It’s been wonderful following you and your guide to Scotland in particular has been wonderful to watch. I’m sure that if the mood takes you at some point and you do put up the odd video they’ll be fantastic. All the best for the next chapter.
