FYI, there is no difference in the foam. EPP IS an EPO. EPO is the family of materials EPP belongs in. It is an OLEFIN. In this case it is AN expanded polyolefin , which is more specifically expanded polypropylene. There is no such thing as "EPO" in the sense that it is a specific material. This version seems 100% identical other than the decals included. It is simply a remarketing to gain some interest in the racing scene.
@AndrewNewton5 жыл бұрын
Excellent, thanks for the EPx lesson. I wondered because some EPP seems to be weaker than some EPO. All about the added elasticiser maybe?
@ArionRaine5 жыл бұрын
@@AndrewNewton Naa, not about an added elastomer. There are different types of EPP with various additive, but that doesnt make it what it is. Olefins are a family of materials that polypropylene belongs in. EPP is just expanded (foamed) polyethylene. Most planes with invariably be EPP. Some can be EPE (expanded polyethylene), but this is rare. Some are of course EPS (expanded poly styrene) but that is a rarity outside of some "scale" foamies. The "weakness" is just simply due to the density, as well as the molding properties. Temp, pressure, expanding chemical used (sometimes just steam) etc. There are certainly differences, even though its the same material. They are not incorrect to call it EPO, this is true, but the specific type of foam is EPP or EPE, the later being rare more rare. EPO vs EPP cannot be separated as different materials. The confusion is due to the way the manufacturers use the terms, and may not understand it themselves.

Hello Andrew, my friend. I already have the sky hawk v2 and now i wanted something that can go faster and be stable and more efficient at high speeds. The sky hawk can go fast, but it is more of a cruiser. I was thinking about this one or the AR wing or the F1 wing. I think the skyhunter might be better for tight spaces and circuits (more like a quad), while the other two sound better for empty areas. I also wanted something different than my twin boom, so i'm more inclined for the wings, but this is not high priority, my priority is something that i can fly fast and rock it in FPV. I won't use GPS nor fly long range, i only want to have some fun and impress the guys at the club that only flies oldschool balsa planes hahahah lol. Knowing that i already have a good cruiser, which do you think is the best option for my second plane and why? Thank you, i love your videos, keep it up!
