Do you own an Android 6.0 or above TV box and finding that the device is powering off when you switch #HDMI source on your TV?Or do you have Android 6.0 or above TV box and finding device language is getting changed after you reboot device?
Quick Guide to Fix Auto Language Change and Sleep Mode for Android TV:
Step 1 Go to device settings
Step 2 Navigate to Preference and choose HDMI Cec
Step 3 Turn on HDMI Cec
Step 4 Turn off auto change language and keep the HDMI CEC on

Quick update - the box shut down again as soon as the tv was put to standby mode - so I have now switched all the HDMI SEC settings to off. Box now stays on when TV is off.

Well , it worked in that for the rest of the night the box did not do the restarting thing. HOWEVER it’s now the next day, after having turned everything off the night before, and I’m back to square one. Even tried factory reboot and changing those settings but this time no joy. Next suggestion please.

The video stops and goes to screensaver or it turns itself off but only when I watch it on a browser for some reason. What do you think could be the problem?

I had a similar problem with my android box which I had connected to my Samsung TV, occasionally the screen would momentarily go black and sometimes display a 'no signal' message. A second or two later it would correct itself. After doing a bit of digging around on the net it was suggested to take the HDMI lead out of HDMI 1 (marked STB) on the TV and put it in HDMI 2, which is marked MHL. Since then the problem has gone away. Other than rectifying the problem the only other difference I've noted is that HDMI 1 allows for 10-bit colour and HDMI 2 only allows 8-bit, but I can live with that.

I followed your instructions and my Android Box no longer powers off. As soon as I changed the CEC setting in the Android then my Sony receiver now keeps turning on and off by itself and keeps reverting back to the Video source.
