I dont really understand your question but I am guessing the screen is staying on after you take the key out....there is a small black plug in wire harness it needs to be unplugged...the wires are constant 12v meaning the unit remains on

Hi just installed mine last night, just like yours. Everything seems normal apart from when indicating left or right, the screen turns into reverse mode with the parking sensor car logo. After the indicator is turned off the screen returns back to normal. When on a phone call and indicating the call ends and the black screen into the reverse black logo along side the car sensor logo. Please help?

You probably attached rear camera wire to indicators instead of reverse light

Different units have different ways to get into the settings...which brand of unit are you running and which android version 🤔

Hello! I have the same android unit. I set up my canbus type to Raise - Volkswagen and i picked the first option (with the number 01 and a lot of models). However, the door open detection does not work even though the option is activated. But when I switch to reverse it shows the back camera screen and when i switch back to neutral it goes back to the radio screen. Did I set the canbus correctly? Why my door detection isn't working? I have a Golf V Plus 2006

🤔 I don't know why it wouldn't show open doors. The cantus box is obviously working if it's showing reverse screen...if you go onto the car info/car can screen does it show fuel level etc?

It also shows a message like "the version is not detected" in the bottom left corner of the carcan app. The only thing that's working is the reverse gear detection. I know the car is 2006 but i bet it could at least read the basics from the canbus box. I don't know what to do. I eventually can try other canbus presets from Raise. But then the question is: if a preset is not supported, will the android unit completely stop working? Because it will be a mess to detach the unit and mount it again if the only thing that's powering the unit is the canbus. Correct me if I'm wrong

Do you have the small black plug in the harness connected or unplugged? It needs to be unplugged when using the canvas box

@@whatsdavedone104 yes, i was aware of that little plug when I've installed the unit. It is unplugged. But I remember it has 2 little black plugs. I unplugged the plug from the 16 pin harness and the other one is connected from the 12 pin harness

Air con on flot is a small app comes on screen you can move round when you push the app it opens to A/C settings

Which unit is it? Look at the wire harness and see if there is a small black plug with red and yellow or orange wires, unplug it. It doesn't need to be connected

Yes you need the canbus box, without out it the radio will remain on, not tell you which doors are open, fuel level etc

Steering controls will work without Cambus box as its a signal sent via wire, factory units don't have canbus boxes.... Yes the door information will show if you have canbus box, you will also get information like fuel level, outside temp and engine rpm displayed. This is covered in other videos of mine.

Yes there are pre outs for sub/amp and yes I have reverse camera. In kms its correct if you convert to miles, the developers didn't use full 0.621 only used 0.6 in their maths....if the car doesn't know the bonnet is open then the head unit won't

I have a problem with my golf 5 2006 with radio. When I connect canbus work fine 10 min end then turn off radio end I can't started again, I need to turn off car , and after 1- 2 min then I can started again. End everything hapen again. Without canbus I can't turn on the radio is it seems to have no power. Can somebody help me?

Factory reset should be under setting, at bottom of list on the first page that has network settings at top of list....if its not there the check reset video on my channel

Hello, i have Can Bus Decoder plugged in my android device, but in CarInfo nothing shows up, as Fuel or RPM and etc. Do i need to enable it by going in Factory settings or something via password then enable? I have option Boot Logo and when u click on it , there is a password to enter. Is that?

If its not showing in carinfo then your canbus might not be set up correctly or it's connected wrong...which unit do you have?

2004 yeah that will probably be the issue, older canbus system on the car. Most android unit canbus boxs only work on newer cars...mk5 golf has to be set to mk6....Best thing to do is contact xtron and ask them 😀

Yes cutting the wire is an option...I think, not 100% sure, its the pink wire in the harness

I've just done it on my Android 10 Xtrons. It's still in the car settings, bottom menu (think it's 'system' or something) and then the first menu item should have a cog on the right. A load of different pin codes can access different areas then. On mine 8888 enters this area where you can find the reverse for the doors. Could be slightly different on yours if an earlier model though.

Hi, unfortunately it's not possible to update the android system on these units. You can update MCU but you would have to get that update directly from the seller/manufacturer of the unit

If nothing is wrong then just do as I did in the video, tap 5 fingers on the screen as its booting and it will go into recovery mode then you can factory reset

Vai ao ecrã das opções Canbus (depois de inserires o código 000000) e faz scroll para baixo. Tens uma opção que se chama "Amp Volume" ou algo similar. Se estiver no máximo, ajusta para 10 ou 20 %.

He needs to go to the canbus options, after inserting the 000000 code, scroll down, check the option Amp volume. Need to reduce the value quite a bit. I did the same on mine, still has an issue from 20 and up, but at least the minimum volume is acceptable (was way toooo loud even at volume 1).
