The Osmond boys were amazing!..so young and so talented! They worked so hard! It gave me the chills when Donny said: Every year I'll invite them to my Christmas show'..little did Donny know that those words would eventually come true. And little did the Osmond brothers know that they would be the biggest boy band in the 70's..and cause an OsMania! Thank you for sharing this video!

So very true. I had the same reaction. Little did I know that I would join a barbershop chorus in 1981, even sang in a couple of quartets; while learning a song ( Coney Island Baby and Side By Side) I had a flashback, It was 1962 and I was 5 years old and going to kindergarten in Brooklyn NY. My class was ushered into the auditorium (I was frighten when they turned off the lights, I didn't understand what was happening) anyway, a spot light appeared in the center of the stage and 4 little boys walked out and sang two of the songs above. I never forgot that experience. Many years later I was taking care of my mother and reached out to a men's barbershop chorus in NYC and asked if they may know who those little boys were. A gentleman said ( I described their outfits) it sounded like the Osmond Brothers, they dressed like that and the songs were part of their repertoire. So much talent in the family, they have been entertaining us for 7 decades! Truly an American Icon. , I wish they would be nominated for the Kennedy Center Honors, I believe it has to come from the public. We should start a campaign to get them on nominated for 2025. ❤🎶❤🎶❤

Watching that, especially the ice skating at the end, the fact they possibly only just learnt how to skate and they've been able to pick up all those moves and skills so easily without looking like bambi taking his first steps on ice, it's no wonder Donny won dancing with the stars. He's just always had that drummed/built into him, to learn everything and pull it off with perfection. I love seeing these old clips, wish I'd been around in the 60s to witness them happening myself! Thank goodness for those who saved all this sort of footage to share it later on though, it's great to see!
