I just finished day 75!!! Whoohoo!! I am disabled and my WHY was a milestone birthday in April, wanting to live longer. I have Elhers Danlos , a disease that isn't fun. I saw something on TT and started on March 19 2021. I never cheated once! I haven't had one migraine, inflammation has all but disappeared, sleeping better, stopped my indigestion/Gerd med, ..Body swelling is gone. I have a huge list of how it has changed my life. No sugar, bread, red meat etc etc. I don't know what it is about this challenge, I've been on so many many diet plans, but THIS WILL BE MY FOREVER way of life!!! I'm forever changed! I knew very little about 75 hard from TT, but it got me on the right path for certain. I lost 28 pounds. This is my first KZbin about this challenge, and you explain it so well. There is so much I didn't know. Now the next 75 days, I'll go deeper doing the things I didn't know is a new challenge. Thank you for you video! Oh and, I do the same, I keep baby carrots too much on a couple of and when I want to crunch! :) One more thing , after maybe a week of no sugar, I no longer have the cravings for sugar. It's really amazing and I'm grateful. I apologize for writing so much, I'm just really super excited!😊

And what comes next? After completing the challenge, what do you do to not revert back?
@nickupdikeofficial4 жыл бұрын
After 75hard there is phase 1, then phase 2, then phase 3. If you complete all of those, the mental toughness you gain will be so engrained in you that I can almost guarantee a fundamental shift of some capacity. The goal is to cultivate a tremendous mindset and NOT revert back to your old mindset and habits by the time everything is over, but it is a slippery slope...So just be self-aware of your actions :) Hope that helps

How will this teach me moderation? For bingeing and for my lifestyle to actually maintain the weight ?
@nickupdikeofficial4 жыл бұрын
Well Charlotte, that's an awesome question! I believe the mental toughness, health, and habits you develop throughout the challenge will carry over afterwards - with some effort of course! At that point, it should be easier for you to slowly incorporate some of the other treats you love in a CONTROLLED moderation. It is a very slippery slope though, so you want to be careful that you do not revert back into you old bad habits and you keep your standards high! I hope this helped some, as I know it can get very challenging throughout the challenge to not binge out (I've experienced the urges too). Just remember your end goal and why you started in the first place :) -Nick

Hello, Andy said in his 75hard info page that 75hard is meant to work in line with your current fitness program I'm currently following a beginner half marathon program but I want to start 75 hard. My long run days are currently 5 miles which takes me 1 hour to run (slow runner). My question is do I need to do another 45min. in-door workout or do you think it's ok to subtract and do 30min indoor workout for example, same goes for when I need to do 10k or 7miles etc. and my outdoor workout will run for a longer period of time Great Video BTW I'm excited to start!
@nickupdikeofficial5 жыл бұрын
What's up Karen! I'm not Andy, so I cant tell you exactly what he would say in this situation, but he was pretty clear that you need to do two separate 45 minute workouts. I understand the runs are probably pretty taxing, so maybe do the other 45 minutes indoors either stretching or working on stabilization exercises that won't take too much out of you, but will help with your long term goals!

Hi I'm about to start with 75hard. Part of my diet has meal replacements which has 500ml or 0.123 galloans of water, can that be included in the water intake daily goal?
@nickupdikeofficial4 жыл бұрын
Is it in the form of a protein shake? I don't recall him ever discussing that specifically, but I think that would be something you would have to decide on for yourself. I personally never counted the water in my shakes towards my count if that helps haha.

@@nickupdikeofficial haha thanks, yeah kinda like protein shakes, I guess I'll do what you did lol

So is there a specific book you have to read? or is it just any book of choice?
@loisseguwayawson67734 жыл бұрын
The book must be non- fictional and audiobooks don't count

one gallon is eight pints. EIGHT feels like too much water that could be dangerous
@nickupdikeofficial4 жыл бұрын
I thought that at first too, but when you space it out and work out 2x per day, it's really not over the top.

ReelDriven I’m 5/8 way thru first day of drinking that amount and oddly have darker urine midday after clear flow in morning. It’s very hot to be fair though

@@MindbodyMedic If you take vitamins/minerals that may be effecting your urine color, but drinking more water definitely wouldn't cause that haha

Why do you have to take a progress pic every day? Why can’t it be once a week? What change can you see in one day?
@nickupdikeofficial2 жыл бұрын
It's not about the daily progress, but more about the discipline of getting it done each day.
