Andy King may not have been the greatest footballer to have played for Everton. But he's my all time favourite. By a country mile.

Vastly understated footballer was Andy who was on the brink of playing for England but for a bad knee injury the week before we played in the quarter final of the FA cup at old Trafford.Kingy was playing the best football of his career at that time,we knew then without him for that game it was gonna be more difficult..RIP Andy.

It is a bit sad to say this. But do other supporters get the feeling that the players in the days before the mass influx of foreign players that players in our respective clubs seemed to love the clubs more than they do nowadays.
