Many people forget, he got a lot of stick from the terraces at times. Workrate was never his thing, but that left foot could conjure up some magic. Thought the way he was moved on by the club was disrespectful after the service he gave.

Everton and Liverpool were the two best teams in Europe in the mid 80s. The European ban was a disgrace and just an excuse to get rid of English teams because we were dominating Europe at the time. To win our league back then you had to be the best team in Europe. Man u even had a good side in the mid 80s but it was so difficult to win our league
