@@TopEveryThing-yi3py It just reflects how the tennis world has become obsessed about grand slam totals. It's also a reflection of how goalposts move as records are beaten. No one cared at all about the all time record on the men's side until the 1990s when Sampras started chasing Emerson's 12. To my understanding, on the women's side, no one cared about Court's 24 until Serena started chasing after it. So I guess 24 is a thing for both tours now a thing since it's the only thing Djokovic has left to chase.

I suspect Novak and Andy have been in the works for months now in secrecy. That's why Novak hasn't been playing recently after US Open and Shanghai, along with some injury problems. He's been keeping this secret weapon and trialling it. And something must have clicked and they're both onto something hugely successful... hence the announcement of confirmation as Andy being the new coach to Novak.

The Anglo Saxon media and audience will never like or love and respect Novak, tennis is politicized sport and they always had discriminatory attitudes towards Novak. Novak refused GB citizenship and to play for GB with Murray. He beat Fed in all Wimbledon finals in front of 20000 Fed's fans and in all 4 GS. Novak stopped Fed overtooked Rafa and broke almost all records and won 24 GS and a gold medal. He showed his middle finger to the pharmaceutical mafia with B. Gates unlike Fed and Rafa.. Unlike all of them Andy was always honest, correct, objective and friendly towards Novak especially in difficult moments for Novak.. That will be an excellent collaboration. Andy knows Novaks character, emotions, temperament and desires wery well. Good luck on their trip to lift the 25th trophy!

Men's sports have nothing to do with women's sports. I'm not sexist, they just don't play against each other, so, how can you treat them like it is same. That's why it's best to separate the category like you separate doubles and singles trophy. Also there is a few more problems... How much competition was there in the 60s, and what is it like now (just can't compare). Novak would have surpassed her a long time ago if they had allowed him to play, because he had not been vaccinated with something that they had to change the law to call a vaccine.

And it's fair to neither the men's or women's game to pretend he "needs" to get 25 to "be the absolute GOAT" rather than Court simply because she has 24. That's absurd... Serena with 23 was a better all-around player than Court not to mention every other woman to ever play and it's not even really that close. That said, Murray is testing the coaching waters and it's obvious. There's no real harm possibly done because it's Novak for goodness sake haha. But as an official coach Murray will have access in ways everyone else will not as well as learn in real-time how to be a great coach.
