Reminds me of the time Labour and the Conservatives led an ad-campaign villainising ranked voting that would give the public the ability to vote for their top 3 best parties. Both parties were afraid if people could vote for them and the lesser parties, it would risk losing seats in Parliament.

The Brits (the English) have been rigging Votes since Time Immemorial, starting with changing Constituency Boundaries in Times gone by to Residency Conditions in the last Scottish Independence Referendum. I couldn’t Vote in my Home Country (Scotland because I didn’t reside there (for whatever Reason). Do a little more Homework and you will find that there has not been a UK Election/Referendum Vote which has not been rigged in some Way or another since I don’t know when. WHO controls OFCOM ? The Rule affecting the Reform Party is blatant discrimination ! In the Brexit Referendum the Scots voted to stay !

We need to find when the "previous election performance" rule came into effect. I haven't heard of it before, perhaps it simply hasn't been an issue. It certainly is now. However, Ofcom do seem to be biased, when you look at how they choose to use their powers. Labour, Green and LibDem rarely incur their displeasure.

I think all candidates should be on one evening for Freedom of Speech. Also the questions they ask are always the same, last nights questions were more or less the same of the same on first night debate. The Preston Journalist from six months ago said a Labour dropped some secret info that Labour is going to force people to give up a bedroom in their home for an immigrant. If , Conservative and Labour are both the same and not going to stop immigration especially Labour who are obviously relying on their growth figures to come from immigration then these are the sort of hard questions the journalists should be asking, where are you going to house

It's all legwork for the party members. Face to face discussions with people and local public meetings will penetrate deep in the local communities and the party will gain by the research they pick up and become closer to voter's wishes. Like any other business, work pays off. Would you pay attention to a leaflet through the post, or would you be more convinced if the party had real human faces where you could ask your own questions?

I would not blame OFCOM for this, the guidelines are in place to prevent the outragious "fringe" gaining publicity when they do not represnet anybody! That said, with Reform we have a party, representing a considerable minority and as such should be brought into the debate by the main stream media, if only for editorial balance. The guideline is there to ensure a minimum coverage of established minor parties, note it is a minimum, not a fixed in stone amount. As our media has an obligation not to show bias, they should accept their own polling data, or gov uk etc if they do not have any of their own and bring Reform to the debate, the public obviously want this to hear a full representation of the state of the election. A fairer way to set out the time available would be to allocate airtime according to the number of candidates a party is fielding, this would not only be fair, it would stop the single issue party, standing in only a few, less than 5, taking up airtime when few if any members of the wider public are interested in hearing their view.. Reform is standing nearly a full slate in this country, and as such should have the same coverage as other parties standing across the Nation!

The broadcasting rules are based on the number of MPs in the previous Parliament and votes cast - Reform had none. Farage gets plenty of coverage - 34 appearances on QT alone. Part of the reason Reform have advanced in the polls is the coverage they have had from "news events", but you cannot invoke the polls, given the wide ranges of support for smaller parties and no actual votes being passed. Indeed, if you want polls, consider the regular 55:35 support for rejoining the EU. Reform cannot complain when their leader has ducked an interview with Nick Robinson.
