Love all the vids hope we can talk again soon and you are right about practicing because in the moment of closing and presenting numbers it’s always an odd feeling and that comes with being new and not knowing how to close properly. I was going to try this on my last write up but in the moment it was difficult you know what I mean haha? It’s also different when they are wanting to think about it but you get them inside to “look at numbers so they truly have something to think about” that one has happened before and trying to close those customers is more difficult. Love these videos and I’ve been showing a ton of guys your channel at work haha my manager even brought me up in a sales meeting for learning while it’s been slow and not just standing around not being productive. I can’t wait to save up for that master closer seminar it’s the real deal I know it! Good stuff Andy will talk soon I’m sure

As a customer I care about the "out the door price". If we both cannot land on an agreeable price... no deal. I could care less about payments and down payment. Most Salesman come back and say "good news we lowered you the price by $500" that's when its time to walk. Most customers get caught up in the payment and down payment trap to making the purchase look affordable.

What about if you are presenting a lease. First payment is due same day? Also at my dealership we don’t discuss payments on a purchase we only negotiate the OTD price and finance takes car of payment, how can i use a diversion there?

Just take the payment part out and change the diversion to a different one like... Sign here... oh and I apologize I forgot to ask you did you want me to go ahead and schedule your first oil change today in advance on your new car? I can handle that right now so it’ll already be taken care of... is that ok with you? And this is just an example. Just say something and use no concern towards the numbers.
