Hi there Andy Kirby. I'm Leonard Erasmus,and i'm 51yrs old,and from South Africa. I must say that i really do like your "INSANELY FAST E-BIKE ",and it's really very awesome. To be really honest with you,by saying that i really wish that i could afford that electric bike for transportation to work and back home,but to also be really honest with you, is that i really can't afford that electric bike, because i'm working for the POST OFFICE,and because of all my different payments i must pay every month, makes me just to survive every month.

Got to love that bike. Its a proper bike. I would say if u are hanging back from registering it then u are happy as it is. I would agree with that Andy why bother if u dont want to. Your audio was spot on. Great video as always

Morning Andy i have a 5000watt ebike. Which do i plug in first the when charging up the battery. The charger into the battery or the plug socket then switch on. I know it sounds like an oddball question but i dont want smoky hair lol. Cheers. Andy.

I did some checking an what I found out is I can only use parts intended for a bicycle The US has some strange laws like a 20 mile per hour speed limit that is not enforced any place I know of I got a low end cheapo mountain bike to use as a test bed wish me luck

Re: registering it; Would it pass an MSVA - or have you read the MSVA handbook to check what it needs? If you don't think it would pass, you could always buy an old BSA Bantam frame or similar. Any frame pre 1977 can be registered for historic tax and thus, no MOT! Simple as telling DVLA it's had an engine change if you keep the frame mostly standard (

I use a 1000w cyclotricty bike on the road, i dont care, there is a option on the controls to turn it down to 250 xD

problem is chris if uk police stopped u for any reason and ya bike wasnt registered they can still arrest you, ( all assisted electric bikes must be registered from the retailer and or manufacturer )

hey, i'm thinking of getting a sabvoton controller, but am having problems finding software to use before i buy it. have you had any luck configuring yours or are you just running the factory settings?

Your audio is good but the cam shacking gives a nausea type of feel. If you can get eathier a cam with good stabilizer or an external stabilizer

You have to register it by our uk law. Its over 250w, so its not classed as ebike but a motor vehicle.

I Personally haven't but my local cop shop went through the steps and told me all about it and why you have too when i was interested on doing a build in 2016. I only haven't yet because i'm waiting for the prices to be forced down even more with competition on parts. I'd rather be registered than getting points or a ban that even goes for riding off road unless on a private track.

Yeah - there are always those pussies who don't like people doing illegal things. But onestly - why do they even bother watching then. In my opinion, watching a legal E-bike (with a maximum power of like 250 watts and motors that shut off at 25 km/h) or even a legal motorcycle ride (where you go within the speed limits) is as boring as watching paint dry...
