Great video ... common fault on Volvo S40 ... Mine said "Boot Lid Open" ...when shut .... go to the wiring loom on left when lid open .... peel back the rubber and re-join the broken wire ... sorted ............ Note .. make sure the rubber grommet is secured as water will get in and you will have a wet patch behind passenger seat.

The ac control unit where you select on which body part the air should blow. Mine are go either orange ir bo light does it mean that they are switched off or on when its orange?

Andy, thank you for the very thorough review of the S40/V50 interior features. I'm trying to decide between a 2008-11 V50 and a 2006-10 V70. Having checked the specs between the V50 and our '99 Saab 9-3 SE 5-door they are extremely close so, apart from the cargo volumes, we already have a basis for comparison. I'll be sharing this review with my wife so she'll know about the features as well.
