Makes you wonder why they didn’t make the movie dinosaur’s color like this one. A red crest could have really added to it’s appearance.

This is my favorite JP Dilophosaurus in that scale range. However the white paint on the crests is a bit messed up compare to the promo images, so I repainted them, very easy to do. Also becarefull, it does not stand on the base alone ! Glue it, or it will fall like mine (but thank god it wasn't damaged).

The standing issue is the biggest drawback of this figure. I actually bought mine from a friend and he had inserted small rods into the feet and glued it so it doesn't fall. I wasnt sure if that was actually done by him or an update by Itoy but I think you just confirmed it for me.

@@andysdinosaurreviews The rod is a welcome update by Itoy, but it's not very well done and not enough, it will still fall. But it is now very easy to glue it thanks to that hole and the rod.
