Valentino Zucchetti developed his ballet Scherzo, created especially for the youngest members of the Company and streamed so successfully last autumn, into this full length work. Inspired by Greek mythology where Anemoi gods personify the winds, this uplifting creation ushers in brighter times with positive winds of change and the warm arrival of spring.

If you go to the ROH website you can find out about the streaming service. Over the last few week there has been one event streamed LIVE around the world from each of the different programmes put on.The good thing about the streaming is that you get to keep it for a month to watch as many times as you like for less than £20.

The choreography and music are magnificent, as are the dancers, but the costumes are in such muted colors (especially against the background) and are so pedestrian in design as to hide the dancers. The movement is so dynamic and athletic; why hide the dancers in beige hoodies?

Then go watch only modern ballet and make a point women are not wearing points. People like you kill traditions with you over jealous notion or ideals. You're not the one dancing so stay in your own female comfort zone and not to meddle with ballet as ballet should be. If you remove points from ballet dancing then it's just like any other dance form. Sure there are great choreo and great non ballet female dancers but they are not ballet dancers. How many years of dedication, practice and rehearsals do you think it take for them to accomplish what they achieved ? Do you make such comparison with music instruments ?
