As a 37 year old woman i want to say the older you get the less options you have. Wasted my best peak years on unavailiable/ abusive men. Make every effort you can while young to meet men you like. Be intentional. What do you need, what hurt you in your past relationship? Was he emotionally unavailiable? Seek therapy, learn your attachment style and meet as many men as you can. Don't leave the house unless you look great, you never know who you might meet along the way. Never waste time on someone who consistently shows lack of interest. I promise you, you will lose so much respect for yourself and self esteem. Make lots of mistakes on new people. Dont drag it out wasting time in men who dont really want you.

Something amazing I learnt in therapy is that you get what you put up with. Understanding my own attachment style blew my mind. We try to look at familiarities (people who mirror our caregivers) even if the person is toxic. If we have an insecure attachment style, we would find emotionally unhealthy men/women sexy, attractive & healthy individuals pretty plain & boring.

Sabrina is right. Giving someone space when they pull away is more out of self-love than anything else. Have faith in the relationship that it can cope on its own, and leave everything to the Higher Power. Keep yourself busy earning money, getting educated, travelling, or doing anything else you love doing. The Universe will either bring that person back to you or send someone else into your life instead.

My bf pulled away and I walked away. And I decided to do no contact. It hasn’t even been 12 hours and he is already texting me paragraphs. I see his messages on notifications but trust me I am not opening the chat anytime soon, one because I have a life and two because he needs to understand the consequences of his decisions.

That's literally what I would do as a man. If a woman doesn't respond or talk with me. If she is distant then I will take that as a sign that she wants nothing to do with me. I will move on and find another woman who actually spends time with me. People should just talk more, about life, about things that connect people with one another.

Awesome stuff Sabrina! I'm wondering, the theme of "investing in yourself" comes up alot in order to move on or improve one's self-esteem in your videos. I recall your prior videos mentioning how much you worked on yourself for a period of time years back, to which, after this period, you rekindled with your partner and things just fell in place! I'm trying to get to that journey now. Things just have been so rusty the past months, and prior to that, I didn't have the best luck with dating. I'm trying to get to a point to improve my self-esteem, but how do I invest in myself? Where does that start? Could you do a video on things to do to invest in one's self to improve themselves? I don't know where to start!

Not sure if my husband is a narcissist or not, but I think he is. I just told him last night im tired of all this Negativity. I can't handle it anymore. Do they like Negativity and stay Negative?
@christianriddler5063 Жыл бұрын
No, men don't like negativity. But as a man who used to be extremely negative I can tell you what causes it in many cases. Negativity stems from a mindset of defeat, that victory is impossible and the only way to cope is to complain and be negative. My mother taught me true positivity, she can alwways put a positive spin on things, even when it feels like the whole sky is falling in. As a man I learned that being positive is far more powerful, it leads to change, it helps people around you and it makes a difference in people's lives. Complaining and negativity just leads to more problems. But positivity brings solutions. I don't know your situation but if I were you I would fight negativity with positivity. Whenever he is negative, put a positive spin on it :D. I do that all the time in my job and one of the older men I work with who was always grumpy has actually become far more positive as a person in recent months. It spreads just like laughter does :).

Hello 👋 If I block the ghoster, what does it show: my weakness, worrying and vulnerability, or that I'm no longer interested in him and no longer need him? How would a ghoster feel about it?
@christianriddler5063 Жыл бұрын
If someone ghosted you, why would they care? The act of ghosting is literally to not care, it's indifference. Move on!
@beecat99512 жыл бұрын
So men are allowed to retreat and "it becomes a problem when a woman can't cope and makes an issue with it when it wasn't". Wow. So this is just women being silly and emotional. It is an issue from the female perspective, clearly. But we just have to wait around for him and be compassionate while we have no clue what's going on and it is all on us? If a guy can't communicate and leaves me in the dark, I'm moving on. End of.
@SabrinaBendory2 жыл бұрын
"Men are allowed to retreat" is an odd way of phrasing it, as if there's some rule of "fairness" being broken and you're entitled to a different reaction that he's not giving you. If his natural reaction is wrong in your view and you feel wronged by it, then you can expect that to fuel conflict in the relationship. That's not what you want. A more helpful focus is: What's needed here for the relationship to flourish? Men and women are different. That's a good thing, that's kind of the basis for the attraction in the first place! To then resent those differences doesn't make sense; it's the opposite of "relationship". If you understand & work with a man's nature instead of fighting it, things will go better in the relationship.
@beecat99512 жыл бұрын
@@SabrinaBendory nah. I think it's fair to expect some basic communication instead of tolerating being left in the dark and suffering in silence. Waiting for a man to meet my needs and being ignored just isn't something I'm going to tolerate. Perhaps men could start accepting women's nature too and meeting us half way, eh? You seem to be conflating women's needs with entitlement, which is disappointing. And you know what? I'd actually rather have conflict, which is a necessity in life at times, than bottle things up and let the resentment build. I like and appreciate your videos most of the time, I just cannot see that this is helpful advice for women, sadly.

i have the same question? I don’t think he should be completely alone with his severe depression
@christianriddler5063 Жыл бұрын
As a man who has suffered from extreme depression and severe trauma. I would just say this. Give him space and time, be in his life but don't take too much space at first. As any wounded or scarred person/animal, he needs space and time to heal. But knowing that you are there for him and that you want to be a part of his life, that will eventually get him to trust you and let you in closer and closer until you can truly be in a healthy relationship. People who are depressed often need understanding and empathy, not sympathy. They need space and they need to feel like they can control their situation, this makes any person feel safe, man, woman, child AND in order to have a healthy relationship both the man and the woman need to feel SAFE!
