I read a book one time about how the Vietnamese would make what were basically U-bends, like the ones used in toilets and sinks, to prevent CS gas from getting into the tunnels. I thought it was interesting, since the technology goes back to, I want to say like 320 B.C., in the Roman Empire. Either way, we've been using it for over 2,000 years.

I once met a man in southern part of Poland, Karpaty Mountain region. He was already in his teens during WWII so did plenty of real fighting then. Not that he ever talked about it. People from the area knew stories told by old timers. Crazy stories. Stories about both the German and Russian armies and the unimaginable things they did to regular people. This old man lived the rest of his life ready for the next conflict.

Watched this show in the theaters with my section. I worked as a electrician and jury rigged a lot of crap. Funniest moment was when my SGT saw that seen with the explosions and joked with the guys that, “that would be me if my wife lets me” XD. Weird combo of compliment and insult.

@@jeremylevant Nah - they supposedly have six movies total planned, and the whole franchise is about Mike Banning. That said, he might retire, or get injured, or something else that would take him out of active service - he's getting older and they touched on him having physical problems in "Angel Has Fallen". Honestly, I'd love to see one where the bad guys go after his family... that's something the franchise hasn't touched on yet.

"Old bull, Young bull." Yeah yeah, I know just a movie but - Why does Mike react like he never expected his dad to defend himself? Obvious influence on Mike growing up. Yet even when Mike's dad shows him the propaganda used to make Mike look like the villain, Mike refuses to see what concerned his dad all those years. Frustrating to see Gerard Butler take good roles as a very capable fighter as in Law-Abiding Citizen and then under-estimate his opponents.

In law abiding citizen, he wouldn't have underestimated his opponents but it's a movie and they couldn't let him win but in real life he would have pulled it off and that good for nothing lawyer would have seen his maker. It's just like the ending in Tom Cruise movie Colateral Damage do you really think a taxi cab 🚖 driver is going to beat a professional hit man it's a movie and it is entertaining
