Angel Reese Beats Caitlin Clark in the Rookie Of The Year Race According To ESPN

According to ESPN's latest ranking, Angel Reese is ahead of Caitlin Clark in the Rookie Of The Year race. Reese who has recorded 15 straight double doubles has been so vital to her Chicago Sky team and the WNBA as a whole. Reese's closest competitor and Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has been instrumental to women's basketball too though she joined a team that was of very low ranking.

Really - she is the most awkward basketball player who needs 15-20 attempts to make a basket, has essentially NO assists and the majority of her rebounds come her own missed shots. If Caitlin did not exist then Angel would still get beat. Angel is a Cheater - padding her stats. which even Jason Widtlock says is enough to take her from any ROY consideration.

The real rivalry is between Caitlin and a gal who is playing in southern California for now. DDs are not impressive. They need context, and boy do we have it. Angel pads stats by hilariously bad incompetence whereas CC is superior in every facet. Made-up stat lines are not LIMITED to only DDs, yet halfwits think that's it. Caitlin is ROTY by miles, so they can keep relying on other teams to actually help Reese get weak DDS. 😂😂😂😂😂

There's a reason ESPN ratings SUCK. I honestly look at post like this as trolling, because no one with a brain would give Angel Reese anything other than a Participation Trophy There' NOTHING stellar or epic about Angel Reese's performances. Her Double/Double run is a gaslighting narrative put forward by those who wish to deny a straight white woman the recognition she deserves. From July 1 through July 7 there were 18 games played in the WNBA. There were 20 points/rebounds-Double/Doubles in those 18 games. They are a dime a dozen. In fact, in Reese's last game against Seattle, there were two other players that also had Double/Doubles in that game. The fact that Reese has accomplished this non-feat several games in a row is still a non-feat. Had Reese's Double/Doubles been of the points/assists variety then we could understand the hype, but her point/rebound-Double/Doubles are damn near an everyday occurrence. Don't piss down my back then tell me it's raining. The "history" Reese is making is just another rainy night. A points/assist-Double/Double is far more difficult to come by. Just looking at the week of July 1-7, there were 4 points/assist-Double/Doubles, which indicates they are 5 times harder to come by. This metric is a truer indicator of a player's impact on a game where total points can be attributed to a specific player. Games are won by total points, not rebounds. A player could have 20 rebounds a night and there's no guarantee that any of those rebounds translated into points., The most coveted feat is of course, the points/rebound/assist-Triple/Double. From July 1 through July 7 there were only 2 Triple/Doubles. Caitlin Clark had one of those Triple/Doubles and was the first rookie in the more than 25-year history of the league to accomplish that feat. On June 30th, Clark just missed that accomplishment by only 1 rebound, so in essence she could have had 2 Triple/Doubles within one week.

Reese is a one-dimensional stat-padder who NOW needs other teams to help her. 😂😂😂 DDs aren't impressive anyway. 10/10 isn't tough, especially considering an incompetent gazelle like angel pads her stats by being hilariously bad on offense. Her numbers aren't impressive: 13.7/11.6/1.7??? CC: 16.7/5.9/7.8 Better, and isn't one-dimensional.
