Angela was only 17 years old in her first movie "Gaslight ". She had a career that spanned 81 years including success in musical films and musical theater. She turned in an unbelievably superior dramatic performance in "Manchurian Canidate". And in her late fifties a hugely successful television series as mystery writer Jessica Fletcher. An amazing person, actress and singer. RIP Mrs. Potts. Thank you for sharing your incredible talent with generations of fans from around the world.👏🧡🎭🙏 Thank you for posting Rosie❤

R.I.P sweet Angela Lansbury. One of my favorite movies growing up in the 70's was watching Bedknobs and Broomsticks with my family in the 70's as a kid, because we had "The Wonderful World of Disney" and we got to watch all of the Disney movies on TV every Saturday and Sunday. To be a kid in the 70's was awesome. I also never missed the show Murder She Wrote and the TV movies she was in. I loved when she guest starred on TV shows as well.

The first time I ever saw her in a movie was opposite Elizabeth Taylor playing her older sister in "National Velvet" then I watched "Gaslight" & "The Mirror Crack'd" and I was SOLD on her as an actress. She was one of my favorites. And of course as Mrs. Potts in "Beauty & The Beast." 😭 🤩🌟

R.I.P. to a remarkably versatile talent. I was fortunate to see Ms. Lansbury's Tony award-winning performance in "Blithe Spirit" in L.A., and she was as wonderful as expected. Three great screen perfomances I haven't seen mentioned yet are 1945's "The Picture of Dorian Gray" (Oscar nominated), another memorable mother from 1962 in "All Fall Down," and her colorful, scene-stealing work in 1978's "Death on the Nile." Such a rich legacy on stage, film and television!
