I love denture brushes too ! They’re amazing and cheap . There’s a tool store here that sells these super tough double ended detail brushes . One end is 1/8 of an inch thick and the other is 1/4 inch thick. They are life savers and only $1.49 each . Check out any discount tool outlets in your area . They have many hidden cleaning treasures 😊

The scrubbrush that u can use on cabinets, what product do u recommend to use with it if cabinets are full of nicotine and grease
@AskAngelaBrown2 жыл бұрын
You will have to treat those cabinets first. To treat them, dip a cellulose sponge kzbin.info/www/bejne/mKm4fIirrNCUerc (no scrubby) in mineral oil amzn.to/3CRVNGD and then wipe the cabinets down. The oil will release the stuck on gunk without stripping the cabinet. Then you can wipe off the gunk with a paper towel. From there you clean the cabinets with something like Murphy Oil Soap. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gmfFZ2Cjmc6BbLM

Is there a particular type of drill? So that the motor doesn't just burn out.
@AskAngelaBrown2 жыл бұрын
Hey Adam & Megan, here is the paid linkamzn.to/3y2OdHW to the one I use. It is an electric drill not a cordless drill and I prefer this one because I don't have to worry about the motor burning out or the battery going dead. I've been using this one for 15+ years with regular use. This is the newer version of the same model - and it's lightweight enough that when using it in a shower for example that you don't get arm fatigue from using the heavier ones with the battery pack.

Thank you so much! You are awesome. I have actually bought the drill brush, the Husky caddy, and many other things that you have recommended. I have not been disappointed with any of them. I also have the Homitt electric scrubber. I make a special mix of 2 to 3 tablespoons of citric acid mixed with 32 ounces of water. Then I spray that on my bathtub at home and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Then I run the Hommit scrubber across it . Everything just melts away. And it does save my shoulder. I am 44 years old and I have been cleaning professionally since I was 18 years old. There are so many body parts that cleaning wears out. 😂 . But I still enjoy doing it for a living. And watching your videos always gets me excited about something new to make my job easier. I can’t thank you enough. That husky caddy has completely saved me from losing so many items that I once lost. The fact that it has all those pockets on the outside makes it so easy to put all my cleaners in those outer pocket. Then all of my brushes and other tools go on the inside in their own pocket. As long as I remember to put things back each time, I’m always able to find them again. On an unrelated note, I just bought some of the super clean cleaning slime. That stuff is amazing for wainscoting. I have wainscoting at home that gets dust very deep in the nooks n crannies. All I have to do is mash that slime into it and pull it out. And voilà! It is so clean. Of course I plan to wipe everything down once again just for a deep clean. But the slime leaves no trace of grime behind. Even in the tough spots that my paint brush wouldn’t get out. I like to use a dry paint brush that has an angle on it usually. Anyway, sorry for writing a book. I just want to thank you for getting me excited about cleaning again. I’ve always enjoyed it. But my own house is another demon. It is so hard to D clutter and clean my own house. It’s so funny how it’s easier for me to clean houses that don’t have any clutter.

Hi Angela I bought the Hommit today at a yard sale and as I’m watching your video I didn’t think about the charger I was so happy to buy it since you had rated it to be a good one also can I use it for my house cleaning business? What do you think ?
@AskAngelaBrown2 жыл бұрын
No. Don't use it for your cleaning business. For your cleaning business you will want the drill brush attachments that go with an electric drill. Here is the paid link so you can see what I'm talking about amzn.to/3A5dxz6 A drill brush will have on average 20V where the spin scrubber is more like 3.5V. If you are power cleaning - you need power tools you can plug in while working, not power tools that will get you halfway through a job and the battery goes dead.

Normally watch your videos on iPad, so has to work to link my Amazon order to your channel on the computer, but I think it worked. I am not young, and have no desire to start a house cleaning business, but your videos have been extremely valuable in helping me with early spring cleaning with less effort and better results. You deserve the commission. Thank you

Thanks for your videos Angela. I have learned SO much from you. My question for you is how do you clean your brushes to keep them so clean? Have a great day, and GOD bless!
@AskAngelaBrown4 жыл бұрын
Hi Kathy, thanks for your kind words of encouragement and support. It depends on the brush and the job, but after each use washing them in hot water with dish soap is usually all your brushes need to be clean enough to use again. And we request our clients have toilet brushes at each toilet so we are not bringing in toilet brushes we've used in other people's homes, or carrying theirs across their home.

When cleaning tiles in bathroom or kitchen Highup how does an old person get to wipe the tiles down after cleaning with the brush
@AskAngelaBrown3 жыл бұрын
It depends on the tools you use, and how tall the old person is. If the old person is 6"5 they will be able to reach the entire shower providing they are mobile. We do have customers who have had shoulder replacements and can't even reach up to remove the shower head on a hose. For this situation we leave the shower head hanging down so it's more convenient.

What is the best way to clean a leather sofa without damaging the sofa or overworking yourself? Thank you so much!
@AskAngelaBrown3 жыл бұрын
On a maintenance clean you will just dust it and you can use a Swiffer Duster. On a deep clean you will use a damp microfiber cloth. For a special project you will use a leather cleaner and and a drill brush designed for leather. Here is a video I made that shows you how: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pqnbfJltpbqUbJY

Can anyone answer this question for me? If I'm starting out as a cleaner, how do you clean your vacuum between clients? How about the brush/crevice attachments. Is a bleach soak necessary? How about the brush head on the floor attachment. I'm really curious about this because of course the towels get washed but also, what about the bathroom scrub brushes?? Bleach and soak them in between clients? Or do you have cleaning kits for each client's homes and everyone gets their own vacuum attachments?
@AskAngelaBrown9 ай бұрын
I recommend having a cleaning kit for each client's home, with separate vacuum attachments and scrub brushes. Regularly cleaning and sanitizing tools with mild disinfectants can help maintain a clean and professional environment

What is recommended to clean an acrylic jet tub ? I've been letting it soak w/ dishwashing pods in it and then wiping down - I don't think I can use any abrasives and very few cleaners on it
@AskAngelaBrown2 жыл бұрын
Marjorie, What exactly needs to be cleaned (soap scum, mold, soil, etc.)?
@marjoriejudge53482 жыл бұрын
@@AskAngelaBrown there isn't any visible dirt generally but just didn't want anything to build up in the jet holes - I suppose the boys mostly allow soap scum (bath tub ring) to occur

Is the Homitt power scrubber safe to use on painted wooden kitchen cabinets? I need an electric scrubber with a long, extendable handle to clean the deep, hard to reach areas inside my kitchen cabinets. The cabinets are painted inside and out with what seems to be glossy wall paint (not by my choice; it's a rental, and the kitchen is gross). Thank you for sharing all your great advice! It's extremely helpful! :)

Ok, lady that's more than 2 brush that you need around the house 🏠!
@AskAngelaBrown3 жыл бұрын
We don't use all tools on all surfaces or in all situations. The Homitt brush in the thumbnail picture is specifically for seniors who don't have the mobility that they did in their 30's. These are the Top 10 for the reasons mentioned in the video. Which two would you use most?

Thank you very much! I did two showers today with the Hommitt! Can I use the Hommitt on the kitchen cabinets?
@AskAngelaBrown3 жыл бұрын
CONGRATULATIONS ON TWO SHOWERS! GO JUDY! Yes you can use the Hommitt spin brush on cabinets! But make sure you work in small sections and keep a beach towel under the cabinets since there will be splatter from the rotation of the brushes. The key is to use as little spray as possible and stay with the section on the cabinet until the gunk is removed. Work gently and dry the cabinet as you go. Keep me posted I'm eager to hear how it goes for you.

@@AskAngelaBrown thank you, Angela! I should have said two shower doors. I’m not usually so energetic. I had my swimsuit on. I also had my mixture of Dawn dish soap and vinegar already. It’s best to use that mixture right away. I did it first thing in the morning, when I had my most energy I think those were the keys I also used a Mr.Clean white sponge. I keep that in the shower and get the scum off between cleanings. Works well. That’s why I hadn’t cleaned my shower doors in awhile. But hubby’s shower doors really needed cleaning. Oh, that unsealed soap dish that was so stained awhile back? It was probably mold. It is fading. My husband is using body wash now, which causes less Soap scum. He’s also usually leaving a fan on for a half hour after he takes a shower. Mold doesn’t grow unless it has moisture. THANKS for your help! You’re helping me make my house I clean her place! During pandemic, I learned that I can influence my own environment by decluttering and cleaning. I am simplifying my life by taking charge of my house.
