Hi Angela, first of all thank you for sharing this tutorial for us non-members. I am stuck at the dart line width, where you mentioned 2-3/4", for a bust 40" as per your variable it should be 3", but mine doesn't fall on the shoulder line when I measure from the inner dart line. It falls lower than that. Please help.. if anyone has figured this out, please let me know where I could have gone wrong. Thanks in advance.

some clarification please. In part 3 at 2:34 you say "across the bust line measure a quarter of your 'across chest measurement' from C.F. But you measured that distance on the Chest Line. Because you said and wrote Bust Line, that's what I'll do. If that's incorrect please let me know. Thanks so much. Great tutorial!

This is the best tutorial I have found for creating a bodice pattern, I've been making my own shirts from a pattern for a year now and want to design my own pattern, can you tell me, will this work for a man (with very little bust)

Hi Paul, That is very nice of you to say so. It would not be ideal to use this tutorial for a man's block but if you are just making shirts it probably is possible. I hope to do drafting for men in the future.

Appreciate you making this video available to those who don't yet have a paid membership (I'm working on it :)). The video skips around 1:10 so doesn't state the degree of angle you drew from neckline at CF diagonally up to shoulder line. Is it 40° or 45°? Thankyou

+Radian Pokhrel Hi, This is drafting the basic bodice. Waistline darts (back and front) are added in the Fitted Bodice draft.
