J* deserves to be on the list, the man (and his stans) consider himself to be some marketing and product genius and all I see it atrocious packaging and really ugly palettes... the alien palette.. like.. what the f is that packaging? Ugly AF. The purple velvet 70-ies couch palette released this year? Yikes! The conspiracy palette that made everyone rave last year but it the most decluttered palette of 2020? Ugly mess. The fifty shades of grey palette that looked as fun as watching paint dry? The the orgy palette the most beige palette on the planet - need I say more?

I actually have the Alien and Cremated (got them on a really good sale) I didn't think I would like the Cremated, but thought I could give it to someone, if it was horrid. I don't care for the theme, but it has become one of my favorite palettes. The newest palettes by him the O and the mini O are not even on my radar to try if someone paid me money to take them. I purchased the Alien 👽, in truth, for a couple specific shades. Not the greatest move ever, but life goes on. LOL (I keep Alien in the box, so i can store it.)

I’ve seen a few of these videos now and am always surprised there is never mention of Tarte’s infamous Xmas honking PINEAPPLE palette or J*’s giant purple shag carpeted hexagon. Those were head scratchers in particular but I’d also include pretty much anything from his line. (Speaking aside from him as a person, his palette packaging has always seemed spectacularly gimmicky, tacky, bulky and hard to store. The exact opposite of luxury or class).

There is several ugly palettes in the world but my "favourite" is that Tarte collab with Lele Pons (sp?). There is just something in it that reminds me of those old pixel art paper doll sites from the 00s and I just can't 😂

I agree, the Conspiracy palette was a mess! What I think is interesting is that if you took any of the three rows of shades, they would actually be a really cute 6-pan mini palette: the top row would be a basic neutrals palette, the middle row would be a great summer brights palette (maybe swap out the gold shade for something more summery...a bright blue?), and the bottom row would be a great cool-toned goth-y sort of color story. But throw them all together and it just makes no sense at all!

I love watching these roasts! All of these are fugly in their own right but the ones with soooo much dead space is my personal pet peeve. To me it's like spending money on a half-filled jar! Morphe's 35 palette always looks like they are selling the refills to the 5 varying usable shades, in case a neutral lover hits pan then they can use the one right beside it.

I agree with you on a lot of these except for the UD x Kristen Leanne palette & the PF 24 Karat palette. I love the Kristen Leanne palette, I love the color combos & the quality of the eyeshadows too and it was actually a really big seller as well. The Physician’s Formula palette performed beautifully, the shadows kind of remind me of some baked eyeshadows that I’ve tried in the past but they really are quite pigmented. I bought it after watching Amy Loves Makeup’s review of it on KZbin & because a lot of people on KZbin were really impressed by it. I always try to watch a handful of review videos first before buying a product because you just never know what to expect. I also just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your videos, you’re one of my fave KZbinrs. 😘❤️🙏🏻

This video was a riot, I just love Angie throwing shade 😁❤️ Oh no! You just called out Kristin Leanne palette, too! Lol, it IS an ugly ass layout, but I love most of the shadows.
